This coloring book is a companion to the rhyming poem/story book titled -- Billy the Beneficial Bumble Bee. I am working my way through the insects alphabetically. I hope the kids enjoy the rhyming, the story, and learn something about each insect. Two previous books in the series -- Little Bug Adventures: Arthur the Amazing Ant, and The Many Moods of Cherie the Chatty Caterpillar.
An instructional (and I hope entertaining) poetry book containing 29 forms, with the Blues poetry being the main fun focus.
A children's poem with illustrations. It talks about a caterpillar morphing into a butterfly, and about changes in life: moods and feelings that children may experience; and that everything turns out okay in the end.
This book was written as therapy at a very dark time in my life.It contains many different forms of poetry that are explained in myprevious books as stated at the back of the book.I didn't do a Table of Contents because all of my Japanese forms are title free. The Japanese forms of haiku and senryu are untitled and the font I used for these is Lucida Calligraphy 14 Bold, while the tanka is Segoe Print 14 Bold, Italic. All others are Times New Roman 12 with quotes in bold.
A coloring book to use in conjunction with the children's poem/storybook -- The Many Moods of Cherie the Chatty Caterpillar.
Japanese poetry form -- Haiku -- done in large print for ease of reading. It also contains Haiga which is haiku superimposed over a picture. There is much tradition and numerous rules to writing haiku and much to learn about the history. In the preface I have included some of the traditional rules. It can take a lifetime to master this form. I am discovering and trying to adapt to new information daily but know I will not master it in my lifetime. However, I am beguiled by it and strive to do my best. I hope this book will help captivate new readers who will immerse themselves into the charming, beautiful simplicity of this form. Haiku is not poetry; it is a way of life. It makes you appreciate the small things by more closely observing your surroundings and becoming more sensitive to your emotions.

A children's poetry book with illustrations that has a companion coloring book. I hope to do a series of insects A to Z.
A very colorful -- rhyming, teaching, little storybook to encourage children to want to learn. It has a companion coloring/activity book that is sold separately. Even before the dinosaurs walked the Earth, dragonflies took to the air. Dragonfly's wings are transparent. Light reflecting off of the crystal colors of the wings causes the illusion of the mirage of standing still. They can also move each of their four wings independently. In addition to flapping each wing up and down, they can rotate their wings forward and back. That means, Dragonflies can move straight up or down, fly backwards, stop and hover, and make hairpin turns, at full speed or in slow motion. The flight of the dragonfly is so special that it has inspired engineers who dream of making robots/drones that fly like dragonflies.
Sr Janice McLaughlin (1942-2021) was a remarkable woman, an American Maryknoll nun who dedicated her life to the twin causes of education and justice. This memoir, completed just before her death, tells her story with refreshing candor.
A stimulating blend of the theoretical and substantive, this book demands a radical redefinition of 'technology acquisition'.
This important text introduces students to both feminism and other social and political theories via an examination of the inter relationship between different feminist positions and key contemporary debates.
