What is friendship? Who are our friends? Sometimes that is a hard question to answer especially for a young person who is feeling sad because her best friend is with a new group of girls. Melana is a very sensitive and kind person who's wondering what she will do when she doesn't have her friend to be with. She is also very curious about her new neighbors and the activity on their farm. What would she do and how would she find new friends and who would they be? Two lonely girls become new and fast friends which erases the sadness and loneliness that both had been feeling. Good sound advice from two wise dogs proves a clever and positive lesson for both children and adults.
