So, story collection books usually do not talk about New Testament teachings such as forgiveness, loving your neighbor, or "doing unto others."This book contains lessons primarily and stories secondarily. The stories bring to life the points of the lessons. Further, the stories are discussed. This book is certainly a religious book. Bible stories are often used and Bible teachings are paramount.As the saying goes, "necessity is the mother of invention." The author wrote this book because he was looking for a book, arranged by topic, which taught the main lessons of the New Testament. Not finding such a book led to the development of this book. Of course the Bible contains the lessons. The problem is that the Bible is not arranged by lesson topic, rather it chronicles periods and events.
