Today we are going to go back in time to the age of the dinosaurs. The dinosaurs are an extinct species of animal that lived on the planet Earth millions of years ago. Extinct means that they no longer exist. They are some of the most intriguing, mysterious, and wonderful creatures to have existed on our planet. We are going to pay attention to one particular dinosaur in this book: the Dilophosaurus. The Dilophosaurus is an interesting dinosaur because of its strange appearance; it has two crests on top of its head. We are going to talk about not only the crests though, but about how it might have looked and acted and where it lived and what dinosaurs it lived with. It is important that we talk about why we should even be talking about the dinosaurs- they are extinct after all. This, though, is a silly question! It is like asking why you should like rose bushes, fresh breezes, or anything else that isn't useful. Dinosaurs are inherently worthy of appreciation, just like rose bushes and fresh breezes. The study of dinosaurs also helps you to appreciate just how mysterious and amazing our planet is! Just think how cool it is that this planet could support life-forms as different as dinosaurs and human beings! The point is that one should approach the study of dinosaurs with a sense of wonder and openness, because dinosaurs are incredible creatures.

Ways to Sell What You Grow - Making Money with Your Farm Selling Agricultural Products Table of Contents Introduction Chapter 1: Agriculture and the Internet Chapter 2: Networking Equals Sales Chapter 3: Local Outlets Chapter 4: Cutting Out the Middle Man Chapter 5: Good Business Closing Comments Author Bio Introduction There was a time when farmers took their excess eggs, cream, and butter to town on Saturday to trade for coffee, sugar, flour, baking powder, and other things such as nails, fabric, and shoes they couldn't grow or produce for themselves. The store owner would then have eggs, cream, and butter to sell to the people living in the community who did not farm. The 'system' worked; everyone's needs were met and they were happy. That's not the way it is done today, though, is it? Today's farmers are either: A-large-scale producers who grow and sell commercially for a large corporation such as Del Monte(R), Tyson(R) or one of the other major players in the industry. These farmers depend on government policies and programs and the businessman's thoughts and decisions in regards to what is going to put the most money in their pockets. This leaves these farmers wearing two very big hats-the one of farmer and the one of businessman trying to meet the demands of corporate America. B-small producers (like you, most likely) who raise and produce livestock, food, and grain/hay for themselves and (hopefully) some of the people living in their own community who buy what they take to the farmer's market or directly off their farm. This does somewhat resemble the days of old, except for the fact that you have a much smaller customer base. I say this because the number of people buying from the grocery store is vastly larger than the number of people buying from people like you. But what would you say if I told you there are ways to narrow those margins and to make your products available to the masses without being swallowed up by the corporate jungle? If you would say 'sign me up', then keep reading, because that's what this book is all about. By reading this book you will discover ways to reach out to potential customers (literally) around the word. You will discover how and why networking can expand your earning potential, why the middle man isn't always necessary, and how doing away with 'him' will increase your bank account. Yes, this will require you to put on a business hat, but it's one that actually fits and can be worn comfortably. So get comfortable and get ready to make your world-wide debut in the world of agriculture.

In ancient times, the mere idea of going without food, in order to lose weight was not very common or usual. That is because most of the time, a large majority of people did not have enough of food to eat. So the idea of their becoming fat was reduced. Also, our ancestors made sure that they spent a major part of their lives doing hard physical labor in the open air. That is why the food that they ate was easily assimilated in their bodies. This meant that there was no chance of their gaining extra weight or the accumulation of extra cellulite on any part of their bodies. Man was naturally conditioned through his genes to have a protective layer of fat on his body. That is why down the centuries, the idea of no fat on a body did not disturb his equanimity. You may want to look at all the paintings and statues down the centuries. The women and even children are Ruben-esque in nature, which means they are chubby and plump.
Table of Contents Introduction Children and Peer Pressure Mind What Your Kids Do When Idle How Parents Influence Children's Behavior Having A Role Model and Mentor Traits of DisciplinedChildren Conclusion Author Bio Publisher Introduction Disciplinecan be defined as the attribute or trait of being well behaved. A disciplined person is one whose behavior is generally accepted or approved by the society. In order to be categorized as a disciplined person, there are several things that you have to always do regardless of whether you're alone or in public. There are also several things that you must never do if you're interested in becoming a disciplined person. Discipline entails how you relate with other people, what you say to them and how you say it. It is quite easy to gauge somebody's manners just a few minutes after meeting him/her for the first time. Even if they try to hide it, they will eventually slip and reveal their true self. This means that regardless of how much you try to hide it, other people will eventually know if you're disciplined or undisciplined. This principle applies to children as much as it applies to adults. Even if you coach your child how to behave when you have visitors, the child will eventually slip and reveal his true character. Rather than wait till your child matures, why not nurture discipline in him while he is still young? Level of discipline will determine how successful your child will be in future. So as to be successful academically or in their careers, children have to be always disciplined. Discipline is also one of the core attributes insuccessful sportsmen and women. Therefore, if your child is dreaming of becoming a successful sportsman, you have to nurture discipline in them. Nurturing discipline in a child also helps them stay out of trouble or jail. If you carefully analyze hardcore criminals, you will note that most of them were undisciplined while young. Your kid will never be employed or fully accepted in the society if he is indiscipline. Even if he gets employed in future, he will probably get fired as soon as he reveals bad behavior. The book "How to Nurture Discipline in Children" contains, tips on how to nurture discipline in children. You need to read this book if you have children or are planning to have children in future. After reading it, you'll know what to do and what not to do so as to nurture discipline in your kids. You'll also know how to behave whenever you're around your kids. Enjoy reading the book "How to Nurture Discipline in Children!!!"

It seems he was a bit bored with his heavenly abode and decided to go exploring on the earth. Moreover, he kept staying on here, much to the dismay and surprise of all his friends, who missed him when they had feasts of nectar of immortality, and other heavenly delicacies. Therefore, they came hunting for him. And what did they find? He was sitting in the Hermitage of a saint and dining off fresh milk, butter and buttermilk. Moreover, just like Oliver, he wanted more. So the rest of the gods began to think that there was something here, rather special on this earth, which enticed a God away from Celestial spheres. Naturally, they demanded the rest of the members of the Hermitage to feed them exactly what that God was having. Yes, that one sitting over there with his hand in the clay earthenware pot, scooping out something white. In an attitude of contemplative and euphoric bliss. Well, yes, he is a God. You did not recognize him? Look at his feet. They do not touch the ground. Oh yes, ours do not touch the ground either. But then we are hungry for what he is eating. And so the gods discovered butter, and buttermilk, which they decided were the foods of the gods. However, they had to come to earth to eat it. That was because cows, buffaloes, goats and other milk bearing animals did not flourish so much in their lands. But they did on Mother Earth. Well, we are very lucky in one matter. Being thoroughly earthbound, we can indulge ourselves in butter, butter, milk, milk, and other milk products like cheese, cream cheese, and anything else of which you can think, to our hearts content. And if we have the pure stuff, that is going to help keep us healthy, and fighting fit. Did you know that Abraham said that it was butter and buttermilk, which gave him his longevity. Also, it was the reason why his tribe members were so fecund, when compared to other tribes. This belief is still held in the East, that a diet of homemade butter, and buttermilk drunk regularly every day keeps you healthy, virile and also potent.
Table of Contents Introduction Time of Planting Vegetable Crops and Cold Resistance Planting Seeds Depth Why Are Rows Necessary? Planting Methods Planting Rate of Seeds Thinning of Your Plants Transplanting Setting Plants by Hand And Machines Watering Your Plants Puddling Using Plant Protectors Conclusion Author Bio Publisher Introduction It does not matter whether you are an experienced gardener or are just a newbie, beginning to learn a brand-new field of growing your own fruit and vegetables - growing vegetables in your own garden, especially in the open depends on a number of factors. This book is going to tell you all about how you can plant vegetable crops, in the open, and especially give you a number of tips about the other necessary factors which are going to help you get a plentiful harvest at the end of the growing season. The time and the method of planting seeds and plants of a particular species, especially in the open, is going to determine - up to a certain extent - of the success or the failure of your particular crop. This is also going to rest on a number of factors, which may be influencing the rate of growth, and other factors which monitor your plant growth from germination to harvest. Even with a good seed or a good plant, satisfactory and prolific crops are not going to be produced unless the planting is done at the right time and in a proper manner. If we were living millenniums ago, we would go to our local priest, who incidentally happened to be a well experienced farmer himself, who would tell us about the best day, when we would be planting our crops. According to him, he looked at the stars and consulted them. He also called upon the good spirits, and the Gods, to aid in a bountiful harvest. Naturally, we very well impressed would consider them really wise men, not knowing that they used the experiences of their own predecessors in order to transfer that knowledge to you, amidst lots of showmanship like calling up on the Gods and the spirits and talking to them! Down the ages, we have learned - without the aid of priests - that attention must be given to the preparation of the soil for the seedbed, to the depth of the planting, to the rate of planting, and the amount of available space given to the plants in order to grow, and also to other factors such as thinning, de-weeding, and watering to ensure a satisfactory harvest of your plants. Also, the climate is also going to have a great effect upon the final result. Millenniums ago, the priest just put his nose out of his window, looked at the snow falling, and then told you that the Gods had spoken, it was not time to plant any crop and he would give you the word. And then he would wait till the coming of the spring, and then when the whole world decided to wake up, and the snow started melting, he would immediately get a message from his best friends, the good spirits and all the ancient all-powerful Gods, who demanded that the seeds be sown right then. And so singing and dancing, at the coming of the spring, all of us from the village would, accompanied by the priest, go to our lands, start preparing the land, which we had dug up the previous autumn/winter, to get ready for the spring sowing. So what the wise men of yore knew through experience was the time of planting, when the weather would be conducive enough to give one a good harvest, and receptive enough to welcome the planting of seedlings and the plants outside. So that is when we come to time of planting.

Table of Contents Introduction I Want to Be Thin... Weight and Psychology Practical Tips for Weight Reduction The Bread-And-Butter Diet Genetics Calories in Your Diet Calorie Counting Diets Exercises for Weight Loss Stomach Exercises Spare Tire and an Obese behind Hip and Thigh Exercises Waist Exercises Conclusion Author Bio Publisher Introduction Healthy eating means a healthy body. Just ask a number of your acquaintances out there, about their first priority in matters of health, and there is a chance that they are going to say that they are bothered about their increasing weight and how they can get rid of the fat accumulated on their bodies. Naturally, thanks to social demands and the demands of fashion, all of us want a streamlined body. However, obsessing about a fashionably streamlined zero fat body is not something a normally sensible person should do or would do. Remember that it is necessary for your body to have a little bit of fat present in it in order to keep functioning properly. Nature has provided you with fatty cells, under your skin in order to keep the skin in shape and to provide a cushion for the muscle, tissues and organs underneath. Also, this fat can be considered to be a reservoir which is going to provide your body with lots of energy in times of starvation. The cells are going to be used by your liver to keep your body functioning properly, when you do not have enough of food to eat. Actually, this fatty layer was what saved human beings millenniums ago, when they needed to hunt for food and did not manage to capture that sabertooth or mastodon over a long period of time. This layer also protected them from freezing to death. But nowadays, in the 20 first century, we do not need to go hunting for our daily lamb, or game. We have it easily accessible and that is why, instead of bothering about survival, we are more bothered about getting rid of all that ungainly fat, and our weight. Incidentally, if you are well-rounded, like that famous comic character Obelix, you would not mind being called chubby. But you are immediately going to get indignant and annoyed, if anybody calls you fat. You may also describe yourself as Jovian, Amazonian, and well-rounded. And if you are an extra large size, you may wish that you were living in medieval times when well-rounded bodies and fat women were considered to be beautiful, as they were the symbol of the fertile mother Earth. Today we are going to take a step back in time and enter the age of the dinosaurs. The dinosaurs are an extinct species of animal that began to live on the Earth over 200 million years ago. "Extinct" means that they no longer exist. The dinosaurs are some of the most intriguing and awe-inspiring animals that have existed on our planet. The dinosaurs' colossal size, strange characteristics, and mysterious disappearance make them inherently worthy of study and interest. Even more than these reasons, the study of dinosaurs itself is an incredible adventure which requires thought and imagination. The study of dinosaurs helps you to appreciate just how mysterious and amazing life and nature really is. Our planet supports not only us and the animals that live today, but it even supported creatures as gigantic and strange as the dinosaurs- just think how cool that is! I hope that you bring a spirit of openness and wonder to your study of the dinosaurs, and that you come to appreciate the mystery and value of the dinosaurs. The animal we are learning about today is called the Sarcosuchus. The Sarcosuchus is closely related to the dinosaurs, but it is not defined by scientists as a dinosaur. It is defined as a proto-crocodile. The Sarcosuchus is fun to learn about because it is one of the largest crocodiles to have ever lived. In this book we are going to learn about the appearance, behavior, and environment of the Sarcosuchus as well as about the dinosaurs it lived with. We know what we know about the dinosaurs from a variety of sources including fossils, biology, and other scientific disciplines. Fossils are the ancient remains of the dinosaurs, the most familiar being their bones. Biological science is the study of life in general, but many scientists compare the dinosaurs to modern day animals to support their theories. Before a talk about dinosaurs can take place it is important that we discuss the theory of evolution. Evolutionary theory supposes that all the animals we know and see today are the direct descendants of animals that existed millions of years ago. The dinosaurs and other creatures that existed millions of years ago either died out or gradually changed into different animals. For instance, birds are considered to be surviving dinosaurs because their dinosaur ancestors survived the dinosaur extinction event (we will discuss this later). The crocodiles are the modern descendants of the ancient Sarcosuchus.

The octopus inspires interest wherever it is. Soon, you will see why this creature is so amazing.

Green tea comes in this category. A majority of us cannot do without the cup that cheers, early in the morning. Sometimes we may even find ourselves addicted to our cup of hearty java, first thing in the morning before we can wake up completely. But since ancient times, green tea has been such a major part of the lives of people who are very careful about their health, that it is no wonder that it is one of the most popular of natural healthy drinks going in the world today. The ancient Chinese preferred going without food rather than forfeit their cup of refreshing "Cha". That is because tea was such a major part of Chinese culture in ancient times, that tea drinking ceremonies which were then adapted by Japan, were a major part of the social fabric. Even today, there are exotic teas which are going for thousands of dollars on the auction table, because they are considered to be such rare, distinguished and exotic beverages. Of the three major beverages of the world, tea is definitely the most popular. "Cha" is a word which is recognized all over the world, especially when one demands something refreshing to drink after a hard days' work at the office or sitting doing that hard days' work in the office. History of Tea Historically, tea has been assimilated in the social fabric for millenniums. Serendipity has a great hand in the knowledge of tea, like that of coffee. Coffee was supposedly found by a shepherd who had seen his goats eating some berries off a bush and then acting in a very enthusiastic and frisky manner. In the same way tea was supposedly discovered by a Chinese Emperor more than 3000 years ago. He was sitting in his garden and a few leaves of a fragrant camellia bush accidentally fell into a cauldron of boiling water in the vicinity. The resulting fragrance tempted the Emperor to sip this refreshing brew. And soon everybody in China was steeping the leaves of the Camellia in hot water and drinking the resulting infusion down. It was only later that the proper preparation of tea, in the form of drying the leaves, fermentation, oxidization and other tea preparation methods before it was packaged and sold to the consumers, became known globally down the ages. The Camellia sinensis plant is normally used for the preparation of green tea. The tea available in the market is normally found in 3 forms - black tea, green tea and oolong tea. All these teas are made through different phases of drying and intensity of the fermentation process. About 3 billion kgs of tea are consumed all over the world annually, of which the major tea drinkers are the Chinese, Japanese, Indians, which come up to 43% of the world population of tea drinkers. In ancient Eastern medicine, tea has been used as a relaxant, and healing drink. According to the Chinese, drinking lots of tea meant that you would not suffer from stomach problems, headaches, nervous tension, and any other disease, of which you could think. For the last 4000 years, tea has been an important ingredient used to cure people in alternative medicines in the East. This is normally given to the patient in either an infusion form where it is allowed to steep in water for a long time, or in decoction forms, when herbs are added to the mixture, allowed to steep and the
