This book presents journeys of sixteen Indigenous Australian athletes from their first touch of a'footy' to the highest levels of Australian football and rugby league, conceptualized as a processof learning.
I moved into an apartment in Boughton Lodge some years ago and soon became curious about its history and former occupants. During my research I discovered that the original building may well date from the Elizabethan era and that amongst its many occupants, there have been two with a story to tell. The Reverend Philip Oliver preached here in the 18th century to congregations that eventually numbered up to 1,000 and Edmund Sneyd-Kynnersley has a fascinating family history, which includes connections with Robin Hood and Winston Churchill. Additionally, I decided that the history of the Boughton area itself was worth incorporating, as there is much that is fascinating and unique about it. I hope that you find the results interesting and that you will enjoy speculating about the individuals that have lived in Boughton Lodge as much as I have.
