Questo libro descrive la progettazione e l'implementazione del software per l'ufficio di controllo di un sistema di tracciamento dei veicoli basato su GPS. Il progetto di un sistema di tracciamento dei veicoli basato su GPS si basa su tre diversi moduli: i moduli GPS (Global Positioning System) per l'acquisizione delle informazioni sulla posizione, il modulo microcontrollore per il coordinamento dei tre moduli e il modulo GSM (Global System for Mobile communications) per la trasmissione delle informazioni sotto forma di sms. I dati acquisiti dal ricevitore GPS sono in formato RMC dello standard NMEA che non solo fornisce la latitudine e la longitudine, ma anche l'ora, la data, il numero di satelliti attivi utilizzati, la velocità sul terreno e l'angolo di traccia. L'interfaccia software viene utilizzata all'estremità ricevente (ufficio di controllo) per mostrare la posizione del veicolo su una mappa. A questo scopo vengono utilizzati Wikimapia.org e atlas.mapquest.com.

Este livro descreve a conceção e a implementação do software para o gabinete de controlo de um sistema de localização de veículos baseado em GPS. A conceção de um sistema de localização de veículos baseado em GPS baseia-se em três módulos diferentes, nomeadamente os módulos GPS (Global Positioning System) para captar a informação de posição, o módulo de microcontrolador para coordenar os três módulos e o módulo GSM (Global System for Mobile communications) para transmitir a informação sob a forma de sms. Os dados captados pelo recetor GPS estão no formato RMC da norma NMEA, que fornece não só a latitude e a longitude, mas também a hora, a data, o número de satélites activos utilizados, a velocidade sobre o solo e o ângulo de rastreio. A interface de software é utilizada na extremidade recetora (gabinete de controlo) para mostrar a posição do veículo num mapa. Para o efeito, são utilizados os sites Wikimapia.org e atlas.mapquest.com.

La conception d'un système de suivi de véhicules basé sur le GPS repose sur trois modules différents, à savoir les modules GPS (Global Positioning System) pour la capture des informations de position, le module microcontrôleur pour la coordination des trois modules et le module GSM (Global System for Mobile communications) pour la transmission des informations sous forme de sms. Document from the year 2022 in the subject Physics - Technical Physics, grade: A, , language: English, abstract: Cognitive Radio offers non-interfering use of spectrum which requires three main tasks: Spectrum Sensing, Spectrum Analysis and Spectrum Allocation. The aim of this study is to focus on spectrum sensing in cognitive radio which is a recently introduced technology in order to increase the spectrum efficiency.Increasing efficiency of the spectrum usage is an urgent need as the number of wireless users is increasing rapidly. Cognitive radio arises to be a good solution to spectral crowding problem by introducing the opportunistic usage of frequency bands that are not heavily occupied by licensed users (Primary user) since they cannot be utilized by users other (Secondary user) than the license owners at the moment. Cognitive radio can sense the spectrum and detect the idle frequency bands, thus secondary users can be allocated in those bands when primary users do not use those in order to avoid any interference to primary user by secondary users. Several Spectrum Sensing Methods proposed in the literature are theoretically analyzed and interpreted in the sense of advantages and drawbacks.
