J'ai lu ce roman avec un grand plaisir et, bien que convaincu depuis longtemps de la toxicité de la Bible hébraïque, j'y ai trouvé bien des idées et des points de vue nouveaux. En abordant ce sujet austère sous la forme d'un roman, avec deux personnages riches et attachants, l'auteur l'a rendu accessible et captivant, sans nuire à la profondeur de l'analyse. C'est un livre que j'aurais aimé écrire moi-même, si j'avais eu le talent littéraire de l'auteur.Laurent Guyénot,
