As eighteen year old Jace Jennings boarded the plane that would take him from Dallas to Albuquerque, he could not feel excited. Tonight he would be surprising Olive at her prom. Putting Marcia on hold, my heart continued to race. Marcia was on the other line with the results of my audition. This call would either make or break my Christmas."Poppy, what's going on?" Piper asked, gently."Marcia Nolan, the director of the upcoming Greer Frazier series, is on the line with the results of my audition." I said. "Can you please go downstairs and get Dad and Patty?""Of course I will." Piper said, heading out of my room and going downstairs.
As I watch Fable slow dancing with one of the guys, I cannot help but feel a little jealous. I wish that was me that Fable is dancing with. I wish that was my shoulders that she had her arms around. I wish...Oh, man. Nathan was right. I like Fable as more than a friend. In fact, I think I'm in love with her.
I have a plethora of favorite activities at GCC. Among my favorites is the Tuesday afternoon talent show. It is a fun show that takes place before dinner. Due to nerves, I have never gotten up the courage to perform in the talent show. This year, however, is going to be different.

So far this season, the football players of Henley Beach High (including Michael and Branson), had not lost a single game. With this said, we have had a perfect season so far.Even though we are very excited about the game, there is something else that my best friends, boyfriend and I are very excited about . Instead of having fourth period today, the students of Henley Beach High will be enjoying the Halloween talent show. I am so excited that I can barely stand it!
Blow drying my hair, my mind goes to that day in early April that Dad and Mom told me that Dad was being relocated to a new church in Texas. Just like I did when I found out about it the move, I have the same emotions about it today. While I am happy for my Dad and am looking forward to this new advent-ure with my parents, there is also a part of me that is sad to leave everyone here behind. The feelings of sadness are especi-ally strong today, due to the fact that it is my family's and my last Sunday at our church, and day in Albu-querque.
Dear Journal, The flight attendant just announced that we are going to be landing in Orlando in fifteen minutes! Being completely honest, I am beyond excited about this! After all, it has been seven months since I have seen my family, best friends, and everyone that I love who live in Henley Beach. With this said! I am beyond excited about spending my Christmas break with everyone that I love (I return to California next Friday)!As I put my tray back up in its upright position, I cannot help but smile. After all, I am minutes away from seeing my family!-
As Mom, Dad, and I sat in Dr. Horn's, my oncol-ogist's office, I tried to process what he had just told us. After being on remiss-ion for a while, my cancer was com-pletely gone. To be quite honest, I had to silently ask myself if this was real or not. Judging by the fact that happy tears were running down my parents' faces, as well as mine, it was.
As Kelly Portman, Portman Records owner, Jane, Robyn's manager/ bodyguard, and Robyn prayed backstage, Robyn took a deep breath. She was about to perform her very first concert. Confidence filling her heart, Robyn could not help but smile. After all, she was about to blow this concert out of the water.
When I was twelve years old, Mom, Dad, and I moved from our home-town of Albu-querque, New Mexico, to Los Angeles, Cali-fornia to pursue my acting and music career. Six years later, I am starring on a hit TV show, have one set that is sched-uled to start filming next summer, have won a plethora awards for my acting and music, and have pro-duced four hit albums!Speak-ing of my music career, let me tell you a little bit about tonight. Since the beginn-ing of June, my manager/ body-guards (Mom and Dad) and I have been on the road touring the US for my summer tour. After a fun and amazing tour, tonight is my last perform-ance of the tour, and it is taking place in LA. What makes this perform-ance special is that it is taking place on my eight-eenth birthday!
As far as the ladies and Kolton know of, Kimber is in Los Angeles celebrating Christmas and her birthday (12/26), on account of her having to resume filming. However, that is not the situation at all. A couple of weeks ago, Kimber had found out that she had the 25th-27th off, as well as the weekend (She was always off on weekends). With this said, Kimber had immediately called Kevin, and told him that she would indeed be able to meet everyone in Maui on Christmas Day, and leave on Friday! Instantly, they came up with the idea of surprising Kathy, Katie, the triplets, and Kolton on Christmas Day. As Kevin and Kimber made their way from the airport back to Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa, excitement filled Kimber's chest.
As Danny boarded the airplane that would take him from Los Angeles to Orlando, he could not help but smile. Kenzie was about to get a wonderful surprise that she would never forget. The best part? His parents and Kenzie's parents were in on it.
Immediately after the graduation ceremony and pictures were done, my best friends, girlfriend, and I jumped into Karlie's car with our duffel bags, and made our way to her mansion. On our way, we stopped at our favorite pizza place, ordered one to go, and continued to make our way to the mansion. After unloading the car, and bringing the pizza in, it was finally time to eat the pizza and take part in our after party sleepover.
"I just want you guys to know that it has been a pleasure getting to know you guys this month, bunking with you, and building a friend-ship with you guys that will last a life-time." I said, wiping away of descen-ding tear. "I'm going to miss you guys so much when I go back to LA tomorr-ow.""I am going to miss you guys lots." Tabitha, our wonder-ful and amazing counsel-or said, wrapp-ing her arm around me."Me too." Shania, Mary, and Gabby, my wonder-ful cabin mates and good friends said, reaching across the table and putting their hands on mine. This term at Water-green Christ-ian camp was a blast and went by so fast! Not only did I reunite with old and good friends and counse-lors, I also made new friends, too! On a different note, I also met a sweet guy named Alan, and began dating him! Even though I am excited about flying back to Los Angeles tomorr-ow to see my family and best friends, I am also sad to say good-bye to every-thing and every-one here.
For Delta's big birthday, the Diaz's had surprised her by treating her to a trip at Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure. Delta had not expected this, and was completely grateful and humbled by this gesture. After all, she had only been to Walt Disney World, and not the other two parks. With this said, Delta was excited and happy about getting to hang out at the two parks with her best friends, their parents, and her parents.
Before I had a chance to try once again to go to sleep, my phone buzzed. Picking up the phone, I noticed that I had a text from Jesse. It read: Are you as wide awake as I am? If so, and if you are up to it, meet me downstairs in five minutes for a New Year's Eve late night swim.My heart skipping a beat, I immediately got up from my bed, and went to change into my bikini. After all, someone special was waiting for me.
"I know that I have said this more than a million times since you got home from the hospital yester-day, but it is so great to finally have you cancer free and back home!" Mom smiled and said, as she applied my makeup. "I know that every-one in your youth group, and at church will be excited to see you!""I'm excited, too, but am a little ner-vous." I said."What is making you nervous, sweet sweet?""The last time that Betsy, Jackson, and Kurt, my besties in the entire world, as well as every-one in the youth group and church saw me, I had hair. Six months later, I am bald.""Is that what you are nervous about, people seeing you bald, and judge you?""Yes." I replied."Oh, honey bear, that is not going to happen, I promise. They are going to be 100% focused and sur-prised that you are cancer free and back.""Real-ly?""Really." Mom smiled at me, kissing me on the top of my bald head. "On a different note, do you want to know some-thing, sweet sweet?""Yes, Ma'am?""For the first time in six months, your pastor Dad left for the church this morning with a smile on his face."
For my birthday this year, fifty guests, including my best friends had been invited to my birthday/ goodbye barbeque. Much to my happiness and excitement, all fifty guests had shown up.As all of us talked, laughed, and hung out with each other and waited for my dad to finish barbequing the food, I could not help but smile. After all, this was the most perfect way to celebrate my birthday, and say goodbye to everyone.
For the Christmas party this year, Shelby and I had decided to dress in identical outfits. While we both are wearing above knee length, sleeveless, a-lined dresses with black tights, our dress colors are different. While Shelby is wearing a dark green dress, I am wearing a red dress. Truth be told, my cousin and I look good. Scratch that, we look stunning. Mo-ments later, we hear the doorbell ring."Party time!" My cousin and I cheer, as we head over to the door.
"Thank you so much for agreeing to do this with me, guys!" I smiled, as my private jet escorted my good girl friends and cast mates, Tori and Hannah, from Los Angeles to Dallas. "It means the world to me that you guys are here to help me surprise my twin for her birth-day, as well as our best friends and good friends.""Due to how much we love you, girl, we would do it in a heart beat." Tori smiled. "Speak-ing of birth-days, what did you think of the birthday gift that Hannah and I got you?""I love him." I smiled, thinking of my Abyss-inian tabby kitten that Tori and Hannah had gotten me. I named him Cooper.Before the girls or I could say anything more, the plane was touching down.
To surprise my best guy friend, Gavin, at his birthday party, I flew into Houston from LA around for the night around 9:30 AM. After Mom picked me up, we went to the mall to pick me out a dress, earrings, and shoes for tonight. After-wards, we headed to the spa to get mani/ pedis, facials, mass-ages, and mud baths. After that, we grabbed a quick lunch, and came home so I could rest and get ready for tonight. Turning off the water, and stepping out of the shower, I cannot help but feel excited, happy, and relaxed. After all, tonight is going to be awe-some!
Before my family and I moved from Denver to Los Angeles, we had made a deal with Levi and his family. From June 26th-June 28th, I would visit and stay with Levi and his family. That way we would have a chance to see each other, and celebrate our birthdays toghether. Riding the Denver International Airport train from the terminal area to baggage claim, excitement filled my heart. Once again, I was back at my old stomping grounds to stay with my best friends family from today until Friday.
Quietly, I listened to the other people in my small group share their stories. One girl saw Jesus when she was pronounced cancer free. A boy saw Him when he was given the courage to leave an abusive relationship. For me, however, I saw Jesus everyday. I saw Him through my Aunt Katie. After my Mom and Dad died in a car crash when I was two, Aunt Katie took me in. From then on, she had raised me and loved me as her own. After all that she does and has done for me, how could I not see Jesus daily?
From k-9th grade, Zara attended Brewster Acad-emy, a k12 school for students with learning dis-abilities. Even though she did not have the looks, she had the kind and genuine spirit and heart that made her the most popular girl in her grade, as well as one of the most popular girls in school. Even when Zara left for Los Angeles the summer before tenth grade to film her show, she, to this day, is infamous and widely known for her great acting, and most impor-tantly for her good and genuine heart around her school. Even after she left, Zara still remained close to her best friends, Zack and Zoe, everyone in their graduat-ing class, as well as the plethora of good friends that she had at school. On a different note, this is a great thing, due to the fact that Zara is, unbe-knowst to her best friends and good friends, she is back home in Dallas, and will be returning to Brewster for her senior year.
"Okay, guys, it is official!" Pauline exclaimed. "Preston is officially eighteen years old!""To Preston!" Porter smiled, holding up his glass of orange juice."To Preston!" All of us cheered, gently clinking our glasses together.As Mom, Dad, Preston, Pauline, Porter, and I sat around our large breakfast table at IHOP, I could not help but feel genuinely happy. Today was my longtime good friend Preston's eighteenth birthday, and it was going to be a big day. After breakfast, all of us were going to head to Orlando to go to Sea World for the day. Afterwards, we were going to come back to the beach house, and relax. Tonight, we were going to enjoy a good dinner, and some cake. Truth be told, a good day was going to be had by all!
