"I don't think that we could pack anymore into this day if we tried!" Mom said. "It has gotten so busy!""I could not agree more!" I replied, sincerely. "Thankfully, you, Dad, and I have our vacation with the Clarkson's to look forward to." Like it was acknowledged before, today was turning into quite a busy day! Not only had my parents and I had the 9:30 AM contemporary church service this morning, but we also had the Christmas Eve Eve service to attend tonight (This was the service that I would be singing a solo at). In between that, we had lunch and my fashion show. Finally, my best friends and I had our annual Christmas dinner and gift exchange.Even though all of these things were fun, as well as me looking forward to them, it packed up the day pretty quickly.

As Vanna and her Aunt Taylor pulled into the parking lot of XalerelaX Studios, Vanna could not help but feel excited. Today was her official first day on set. Not only was Vanna excited about getting to see her good friends, co-stars, and fellow actors, Devon and Dolce Brooks, and getting to see Katrina, the director of the movie, but she was also excited about meeting her other co-stars and getting down to business. Even though filming did not begin until two weeks from now, there was still alot of work to be done. Not only would there be singing and dance rehearsals, but there would also be plenty of table reads. Even though it would be alot of work, it would also be alot of fun. Without a doubt, Vanna was more than ready for it all.

"How is it possible that Henley Beach gets more and more beautiful every time that we come here?" Mason wanted to know."I have to agree with you on that one, dude." Marie smiled. "Henley Beach never seems to dis-appoint."Ever year since they were two, Mason, Marie, and their parents took a one week vacation from their home of Phoenix, Arizona during the final week of July, and retreated to Henley Beach, Florida. It was located twenty miles outside of Orlando, Florida, and was one of the most beautiful towns that they had ever seen. As all of us sat in the living room, exchanged and opened gifts, I could not help but smile. I was with my family, secret love interest, and his family on the most beautiful and awesome holiday of the year. The fact that my parents and I only get to see the Clarkson's once a year on this holiday makes today even more special.
Isla loved being in the choir and performing with her peers. It was truly fun. She also liked getting solos and doing duets, too. Speaking of duets, Isla would be singing one tonight at the concert tonight with Landon. Even though Isla was nervous about singing a duet, she was very excited about singing one with Landon. As luck would have it, they would be singing Amy Grant's "Grown-Up Christmas List." Besides being a pretty song, it also happened to be one of Isla's favorite Christmas songs of all time. Taking one last look in the mirror, Isla smiled to herself and headed downstairs.
I am going to do great today, Vanna silently told herself, as the elevator transported her to the main lobby. I've got this in the bag.Today was a big day in sixteen year old Vanna Vreeland's life. In thirty minutes, she would be auditioning for an upcoming musical called, "The Journey of Alicia Winter". In fact, Vanna would be trying out for the role of Alicia Winter. Last week, Vanna's Drama teacher, Mrs. Kingwood, had told Vanna about her director best friend, Katrina Harper. She had also gone on to say that she and Katrina had been on a couple of conference calls. While one had just been with Mrs. Kingwood and Katrina, the other one had been with the two of them, as well as Vanna's parents. They had all been in agreement that it would be a great opportunity for Vanna and her family to come to LA during spring break so Vanna could try out for the role of Alicia Cooper. However, they had also agreed that, in the end, it would be Vanna's choice to decide if she wanted to do this, and that, no matter what, everyone would be happy and proud of her. Much to everyone's excitement, including Vanna's, Vanna had decided to take a chance and try out.One week later, Vanna and her familywere in LA and located at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza. As luck would have it, this hotel was also the place that the audition was going to be held.As the elevator doors opened, Vanna stepped out onto the lobby and took a deep breath to relax herself. After all, she had the audition of a lifetime to attend.

"You seem minorly bummed this morning for someone who is turning eighteen today and is celebrating their birthday at Disney-land, sweetie." Maxine Meyers said, thought-fully, as she and her eighteen year old niece, actress Lily Meyers, waited in the line to get admitted into the park. "What's going on?""I'm just missing Mom, Dad, Allie, Patrick, and Toby today, that's all, and I wish that they could be here with us today."Looking in the back of her and smiling, Maxine said, "What if I told you that birthday wishes sometimes do come true?""What do you mean?" Lily asked, curious as to what Maxine was talking about."Turn around and see for yourself, precious." Maxine replied, grinning from ear to ear.
This was definitely true. Even though filming the t.v. show was hard work but extremely fun! However, it was nothing compared to spending time with her parents and the Trevor's. With this said, Kennedy was very happy to be here. Judging by the triplet's reaction a few hours before, they were also happy to have her here, too!
As she and her parents made their way from Orlando International Airport to the Trevor's extra large beach house in Henley Beach, Florida, Kennedy's heart filled with excitement and anticipation. Due to filming commitments for her show during the last two summers, Kennedy had not been able to make it to the beach house for her, her family's, and the Trevor's month long vacation at the beach house. This year, however, was different. After two years of not seeing the Trevor's in person, Kennedy was finally going to get to see them. Without a doubt, this was going to be a great surprise for the triplets.
As Mom pulled up in front of the Hunter's mansion, my heart began to thud inside of my chest. In just a few moments, I would be ringing the doorbell, and surprising my best friends, and our good friends! This made me both excited and nervous. After all, it had been a while since I had seen everyone!Getting out of the car, and shutting the door behind me, I made my way up the Hunter's walkway, and to the patio. Taking a deep breath, I rang the doorbell.
Dear Journal, Today is my sixteenth birthday, and it is going to be one like no other for more than one reason! Reason one, I will be auditioning for the lead role of an upcoming show called "Stacey Henley."The show revolves around a girl's junior and senior years of high school, as well as her journey of following her dream of becoming a singer. Reason two, Due to the fact that the auditions are being held in L.A., my family and I are here until tomorrow. After all, I want this part more than anything!-Ce
Dear Journal, Back in September, I joined my church's youth choir (My best friends happen to be in the choir with me). Three and a half months later, I am singing a solo at the 5:00 Christmas Eve service that my choir is leading. Tonight, I will be singing " The Night Before Christmas" by Amy Grant. It happens to be one of my favorite Christmas songs of all time. Even though I am both nervous and excited, I have full confidence that I am going to do great tonight!-Beverly
Over the past three years, Gladys had won a plethora of awards for her music, done a plethora of photo shoots, inter-views, etc. Even though this was awe-some, it could not have prepared her for the heart-ache that had been waiting for her the last time that she was at home last. While on a trip home for spring break in March 2019, Her best friends green eyed mon-sters had appear-ed, and they had said some pretty nasty things to her, includ-ing that they had not wanted anything to do with her any-more. After that, a heart-broken Gladys had returned to LA, and had not been home since. On a different note, Gladys will be boarding a plane to Orlando to-morrow morning for the month of July. After all, she has missed her parents greatly!
As I made my way downstairs, I could hear laughter and excited chatter downstairs. I didn't know if my mind was just playing tricks on me or not, but the voices sounded like my parents, best friend, Vannah, and older sister, Victoria. Making my way into the kitchen, I gasped, and put my hand over my heart and mouth! After all, these wonderful people were sitting around the kitchen table.Immediate-ly, Victoria, Vannah, and I were jumping up and down, letting out excited squeals, and wrapping our arms around each other. After we broke apart, I wrapped my arms around my wonderful and amazing parents (All three of us were squealing out of joy when this happened). "How is it possible that you guys are even here " My excited and happy self wanted to know."We conspired with Valerie and made plans to surprise you, and stay here until late tomorrow afternoon." Dad replied, grinning from ear to ear. "After all, it was important to all of us that we surprise you on your big day!"
"What a rush!" Anita Davenport exclaimed, as the team and I ran off of the stage. "I have never felt an adrenaline rush like that in my entire life!" If I weren't so out of breath, I would have verbally agreed with her. As soon as the music had started, my teammates and myself had become filled with adrenaline. Pushing our bodies to the max, all of us had given an exhilarating performance! In fact, the audience and judges had stood, cheered, and clapped for us at the end of our routine! As the captain of the Aviators, I had taken this kind gesture as affirmation. It had also confirmed that I was wrong for thinking, at times, that I was a bad captain. In this case, I was happy and glad that I had been!
Dear Journal, I haven't been able to get Devon off of my mind today. Maybe, it's because tonight is homecoming, or maybe because I miss him so much. Maybe and most likely, however, it is both. Whatever the reason is, I miss Devon lots. Even though we talk and text daily, I still miss him dearly. If I could have one wish for tonight, it would be for Devon and I to go to Homecoming together. That would truly be awesome.-Vann
Sometimes life seems like it goes by fast. That is exactly how I feel about my high school experience at Caruso High School. One moment I am walking through the doors for the first time, and saying goodbye the next. Last Thursday was the last day of school, and one week later, it is time for the seniors to graduate. My best friend, Kalani, whom I have secretly been in love with for as long as I can remember, will be graduating with me. I am excited that she and I, along with the 428 other seniors, will be graduating together.
"Have you ever been to a homecoming before, Devon?" Hunter asked, as the limo whisked him, Devon, Vanna, Lauren, and the rest of Lauren's party guests to Homecoming."Honestly, I haven't." Devon replied. "When my school would have their homecomings, I would end up having to miss them because of work.""Well, I'm glad that you are able to join all of us tonight.""Same here." Lauren added."I couldn't be more glad." Vanna smiled, looking into Devon's eyes and squeezing his hand gently.Moments later, the limo was pulling into the driveway of the Grand Hyatt Denver.
As I awoke in my bed, I could not help but smile. For Christmas this year, my brother and I are spending Christmas with Vanna and her family. We had met Vanna last year at her audition and had become quick friends. Nine months later, Vanna is a good friend of mine, as well as the girlfriend of my brother. I am truly happy for them.Putting on my slippers and getting out of my bed, I walked over to one of my room's windows and looked outside. My jaw dropping, I noticed that the ground (minus the streets, driveways, porches, and walkways of the neighboring mansions, as well as the Vreeland's, were covered with snow. I even noticed that people were playing outside in it, making snowmen, snow angels, etc. It was truly a sight to see.
Dear Journal, Ever since my family and Reese's family arrived at the beach house on Monday, things have changed between Reese and me. Instead of arguing and bickering like we have done in the past, we are getting along, taking a part in actual conversation, and like spending time together. With this said, we have a new connection than we had before. Truth be told, I like it.-Farrah
Two weeks ago, I had gathered up the courage and asked Cambrie, my best friend and secret love interest, to our school's homecoming. Much to my happiness, excitement, and joy, she had said yes. Two weeks later, I am standing in her family's mansion and anxiously awaiting for Cambrie to come downstairs. Moments later, Cambrie makes her way downstairs and I cannot help but be speechless. She is dressed in a gold, shimmery, strapless, sweetheart necklined, floor length gown, and is wearing a beautiful rhinestone headband. Even though I have always thought that Cambrie was beautiful, she looked especially beautiful tonight.
