Hi Morgan! It's me, dad, and I wanted to write you this letter about maintaining your unshakable Christian faith while you are away incollege! Great idea, huh?Listen, the world out there is going to throw a bunch of crazy ideas your way in the next few years. I know you will sort through them with wisdom and prudence, but I still wanted to write you this letter of encouragement for the exciting journey ahead!I started out going over twelve Christian beliefs that are central to our faith, and then I threw in some of the challenges to our faith you will come across in college, followed by just some common sense answers to those challenges. I included a bunch of warm, and funny, old memories just to make it interesting. There is some other stuff too, but you will have to read to find out!Yeah, I know we have gone over this stuff before, but you have to admit it was a pretty cool idea for me to write it all down and put it in book! You know I got your back. I love you Morgan, and enjoy!

The struggles in life come to us all: financial, marital, physical illness, depression, addiction, family issues, and even bad habits. The question is where do we find the answers? Who do we ask? What counsel do we take? If God Himself outlined a stepwise approach on how to overcome the problems in life, would we take notice? If the Creator of the Universe were to "weigh in" on the subject, would we lend an ear? If the King of Kings had ANY advice would we take it? What does God have to say about it?Many of us unknowingly base our belief system on the advice of the world. We listen to our friends and co-workers, TV talk show hosts, professional counselors, magazines, and other "experts." In this book, God's Word on RESTORATION is introduced in a unique manner. Five steps, or stages of spiritual development, are presented that will allow anyone, anywhere, to overcome any battle, struggle, or bondage. Each step is rooted and grounded in the Bible. God's advice and His counsel are right here at your fingertips. Read on, and you will know the Truth, and the Truth will indeed set you free.

"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven." Mt 7:21Who was Jesus talking about? Are there people who THINK they are going to Heaven and may actually not make the cut? What did Jesus say about Heaven; who will go and who won't? Will Jesus "lock the door" on some who preach in His Name? Will others who are "not prepared" be left behind?It may come as a shock to many that not all who profess to be Christians will enter Paradise. It may be disconcerting to some that Jesus taught that the way to Heaven is "narrow" and "difficult" and few will find it. Others will be dismayed to hear that "lukewarm" Christians will be 'vomited out" of the very mouth of our Lord. What are the "fruits" of a true Christians? Is Jesus REALLY the Lord of your life, or do you just SAY He is? It may be sobering for some to learn what Jesus taught on the consequences of being a "pseudo-Christian." Here we will let the Words of Jesus Himself speak the Truth.
