Aims to unveil the morpho-syntax and the semantics of the Arabic verb. This book aims to bridge the gap between these approaches through an analysis of Taxis, Aspect, Tense and Modality in Standard Arabic. It indicates that the constituents of the verbal system in Arabic are differentiated through their semantic features in a markedness relation.
