This collection was born out of brain fog which stems from lack of sleep that at times produces entertaining material. Born in Huntington Park Ca. in 1949 with an overactive imagination she began to purge her thoughts soon as she learned to write. Each story is different and so is her frame of mind, as she labors over it. At times she may be very serious, romantic, silly, adventurous or extremely sad. Who is she? What day is it? Thus, her title, "Quirky Tales." She is an old writer with a young soul.

Reoccurring dreams have plagued me most of my life. Although, many times, these dreams afforded me an escape from reality without me leaving the comfort of my bed. I find therapeutic value here. In those days parents said children should be seen not heard. While growing up she entertained herself conjuring up fictional stories. Her parents were pleased with her quiet demeanor, stating this was the way little ladies should behave.
