This one-act drama/play (or 4 one-act short plays within) is a humorous and analytical account of Italian stereotypes and their genderized representatives through the means of an ESP (English for Specific Purposes) in the English language classroom situation. It takes place somewhere in Italy sometime in the 21st century as we know it. The characters are Italian learners of the English language with their mutual relationships and their reactions towards the English-speaking environment and their lives.
It is a drama/play about the expats and their experience of Senegal and its culture. It shows various approaches towards the different culture and explores Senegalese customs and mentality within the context of an adventure of a Polish-British couple and their experience as residents and tourists in Senegal. The play is aimed at anyone who wishes to deepen their understanding of the clash of cultures and personalities and read about interpersonal relations(hips). However, due to the simplicity of the language used on purpose to imitate the African style of writing and talking, it is especially aimed at the African Studies students or scholars interested in a non-academic, (pop) version of socio-cultural exploration disguised within semi-fictional context.
