Thank You to all my fans for all your support and patience. As promised here is the second installment to the Greystone series in paperback. That being said enjoy, and God Bless....MaJel is lost at Greystone surrounded by wolves of want. An Angel named "Lexi," appears and leads Majel out of the woods of despair. As they walk MaJel becomes upset and despondent towards Lexi. Suddenly Lexi turns right and disappears. MaJel chases Lexi through the thick dark woods, and knocks himself out, running hard straight into a tree. MaJel awakens in Lexi's room, staring into a small 17th century mirror on the nightstand. He is surprised that there are no marks upon Him. MaJel then looks up, and Lexi calmly states: "Now let me tell you about another truly bitter man I use to know by the name of Jonah......." Follow MaJel as he learns about Jonah and Jacob, and searches for a new direction, in the second book of the Greystone Series in: Greystone: A Walk with a Child of God, A New Direction.Hello, my name is Mark J. E. Lawson, also to my readers I am known as MaJel. I am a work in progress, and am by no means perfect, but God is not finished with me yet. I love working with my hands, and am an outdoors man at heart. I love nature, growing things; and I take long walks in the woods with my dog Buddy, and Luna, a stray cat that showed up. I practice advance Shotokan Aikido, and Eastern Meditation breathing techniques. Academically, I earned a BA in History and Religion, and a Minor in Philosophy from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a Masters in the Art of Teaching from Mary Baldwin University. I hope the Greystone series has been insightful, and I promise the third book as soon as possible. God Bless, MaJel
MaJel is lost at Greystone surrounded by wolves of want. An Angel appears and protects Majel, and leads him out of the woods of despair. As they walk, she talks to MaJel and shows him how to defend himself by teaching him about walking with Jesus. She teaches MaJel about what it actually means to be a Child of God. MaJel, has great difficulties trying to comprehend what she is actually saying, so she leads him back to the beginning, and links the teachings of Jesus to the other major "J's" of the Old Testament: Job, Joseph, Jonah, Jacob, Joshua, and Jeremiah. MaJel gains "A New Perspective," to the trials he is going through. He learns about sowing seeds, expectations, and the importance of timing. He learns about "Job's Walk," "Jonah's Run," "Jacob's Mirror" "Joseph's Coat," "Joshua's Wall," "Jeremiah's Well," and most importantly the "Good News" of Jesus. Follow MaJel as he takes his first steps of this journey in "Greystone: A walk with a Child of God," as Majel gain's a "New Perspective," on life by learning about "Job's Walk," and "Joseph's Coat of Character."
