  • - Recovery a Guide to Disharming, Thriving and Surviving a Narcissist
    af Mary Williams
    107,95 kr.

Do you feel you're not the individual you used to be anymore? Do you feel all your lovely qualities were stripped away? You're struggling to see what's true and what's not...?Chances are you have been linked with a Narcissist strategically for quite a while, living in a false reality. The casual tossing-around of the term "narcissist" has resulted in many individuals to think wrongly that a narcissist is just someone who has an inflated feeling of trust and maybe a mildly inflated ego as well. Unfortunately, the dictionary reinforces this faith by describing a narcissist as "an individual who has an excessive stake in or admiration for himself." This is more probable to be the definition of an arrogant individual, not a narcissist. A narcissist's truth is far darker than that.Narcissists tend to think incredibly strongly of themselves, but they are extremely complex and well-played in the truth of who they are and what they do. Narcissism is an intricate, well-constructed set of characteristics embedded in one mental illness that is highly harmful to all those who cross a narcissist's routes, particularly their lovers. Some individuals are known to have narcissistic-like characteristics, but this is completely distinct from what a real narcissist is. A real narcissist is a lying master, a phenomenal deception master, and an extremely skilled curator of codependent victims. They're strong. Because a narcissist is usually slow and coherent in approaching them, they are masters in tearing down other individuals to the point where the other individual creates a narcissist addiction. Not only is the narcissist in love with receiving attention; they are totally addicted to it. That is the foundation of their mental illness as a whole. It's what drives them and what results in all their puppetry behaviors being masterfully played out.If you are thinking about reading this book, it is likely because you are seeking support for leaving from an abusive, narcissistic relationship or desperately trying to find ways to heal. This book will educate you on complex topics, featuring: NarcissismNarcissistic Personality DisorderTraits of the NarcissistSigns and Symptoms of Narcissistic AbuseCreation of the NarcissistThe Cycles of AbuseLong-term Damage to the VictimStrategies to Safely Escape the NarcissistNarcissists Manipulation Tactics TerminologyWhy we fall for a Narcissisticletting go off anger you are feeling towards yourself And many moreThis book will give you a good deal of value and insight into all you're going through and what you need to do next. If you are still in the relationship, this will help you begin to demystify everything that has happened and recognize the truth of what you are experiencing. This is an important component of breaking free of partnership and healing, as you will discover.I hope this book will find you safe and well and that everything on these pages will help you understand your connection more. I also hope it will help you to leave your relationship securely so that you can move on to the process of healing and eventually resume a happy, healthy lifestyle

Sometimes change is good. Sometimes it's necessary. And, sometimes it is so frustratingly unpleasant that the only way to survive with a modicum of manners is to replace the horror with humor. In this collection of over fifty of her newspaper columns, Mary Williams shares insights into the travel industry. Working as a flight attendant for more than twenty years has given her a close-up view of customer's attitudes toward the entire flying experience. They've changed. "What not to Wear on an Airplane" touches on major differences in travel attire; fewer people wearing dress-up clothes, more showing up undressed. "When Pigs Fly" explains how cabin pets have evolved from movie star's toy poodles to, yes indeed, pigs. "A Primer on Proper Conversation", "Do as I say, Please" and "Phone Nazi" offer tips on making everyone's trip safer and, perhaps, more enjoyable. And, "Top Ten Ways to Aggravate your Flight Attendant" explains how not to get upgraded to first class. Not all of the columns are about flying though. "She used to be my Girl" and "Middle Dog Syndrome" are dog stories. "Vulture Vomit" and "Return to Kanab" discuss the varied rewards of volunteering. Several columns are reminders that life in the fast lane isn't necessarily a good thing, that nature is truly a gift and travel can still be enjoyable. Some of the columns are meant to be shared. "Top ten list for a long Flight", "Are you an Owl, Panther, Peacock or Dolphin" and "Remembering the Good Times" ask questions that are appropriate for any conversation. The book itself is a great icebreaker. Feel free to carry it with you on your travels, discuss it with your seatmates and leave it in the seatpocket if you wish. You may brighten someone's day and that's the best kind of change.

Hazel was never my favorite dog. She never seemed to notice, though and she was friends with everyone. Her wagging tail and her tongue-lolling smile made it clear she was truly thankful to be near you. And, If she could have talked, I think she would have told a story like this one. In her "autobiography", she shares her wisdom and insights into human and dog life. From her appreciation for Goldie, the Golden Retriever she shared her first home with, and Ace, the gruff Dobie/Rottie mix who chose her from the shelter because she was old and meek, to Lucy, the rescued dog who claimed to be a Dingo and had hardened her heart against all love. Hazel chooses to be friends with all of them. And with Molly, the loving, lonely woman who adopts her from the no-kill shelter. And Dennis, the Humane Society volunteer who uses Hazel's loyalty and unwavering commitment as a template to develop a lasting relationship. This book is for Hazel and for all the people who didn't have a chance to know her. If she'd met you, she would have been friends with you.

"John never finished his book on whales. I never made it to Seattle. While there isn't any limit on the number of dreams you can have, apparently you only get to have so many come true." Berry Hatchett is having an ordinary day until John Blake boards her flight. She has settled into middle age, accepting her current career as a flight attendant and her multiple failures at lasting relationships as an okay way to live; not perfect, but okay. Seeing John brings back memories of her younger self, when she worshiped John and his wife and believed their perfect lifestyle was achievable. John Blake is a few years older, a great deal wiser and a lot more lost. He started out as just another guitar-playing teenager who wanted to be famous in a drugs, sex and almost rock and roll kind of way. All of his dreams came true. He found Chris Story, a beautiful Native American singer. He found paradise on an island off the coast of Washington. He had the money and the time to sail, to fly his own plane and to create an organization to save the whales. That was the twenty years ago. 1995 is different. Their flight together brings a beginning to yet another chapter in both their lives. For one it will hold the answer. For the other, the sorrow of unresolved questions.

  • - A Complete Collection of Imaginative & Relaxing Tales that Help Toddlers & Children to Fall Asleep Peacefully. Full of Positive Affirmations for Beautiful Dreams
    af Mary Williams

Do you want to learn tales that help toddlers and children fall asleep fast, have beautiful dreams and a good relaxing night? If yes, then keep reading...When we first hear about meditation, what are some of the thoughts that come to our heads? We think about someone who uses this to help them to deal with anxiety, lower their blood pressure, and even to deal with depression and stress. But did you know that meditation is something that can be used with children as well? We all want children who are happy and healthy. Teaching kids how to do meditation can give them a big start to accessing some of the many benefits that show up with meditation. Even though kids today are showing higher levels of restlessness, anxiety, and stress than ever before, less than two percent of children are going to practice some form of meditation. Despite these figures, there are a number of studies that suggest that children who practice mindfulness and meditation tend to develop some positive traits such as better self-control, better attentiveness when it comes to being in class, and more respect and empath for those around them. And meditation could be a good way for your child to learn how to manage many conditions like hyperactivity, ADHD, depression, and stress. While we do not want to force children to meditate all of the time or they will start to have some aversions to it, many kids do have a natural feel for it, and it can provide them with some positive benefits. Remember that most of the time, younger children are not going to be burdened by as many barriers, preconceptions, or biases as parents, which is going to help them to succeed with their awareness. There has not been a lot of general research about the effects of mindfulness of kids who started with this when they turn into adults; meditation in the classroom is something that has gotten a ton of attention recently. One of the initiatives for this is the Compassionate Schools Project which is happening in Kentucky and impacting around 20,000 kids. This is a whole curriculum that is meant to help improve the way that children learn, both emotionally and mentally as well. And it includes meditation and other similar mindfulness techniques for the students who are on it. In one other study done in the San Francisco school system with the partnership with the Center for Wellness and Achievement in Education, was enough to convince even skeptics that the effort to provide training of mindfulness to children was worth it. In a four-year time period, suspensions reportedly decreased by more than 70 percent academic performance increased, and everyone was happy about it as well. Even if your school district is not providing this kind of thing to your child, it is still important for us to add in some mindfulness with our children.Do you want to learn more? Don't wait anymore, press the buy now button and get started.

I hope to live long enough to attend my Granddaughter's wedding. She is only 2 years old. I better do something."I'm thinking about walking the Mini-Marathon this year. Are you interested?" I ask my sister-in-law, Kathy. She looks at me and laughs. She has completed 9 minis. Kathy knows what it takes and responds. "If you are serious, I will do it with you." She prepares a training book for me outlining how much time and how many miles I need to walk every day. Training starts January 23rd. I quit smoking January 22nd.This is just the beginning of my story. In my world of walking, everything slows down. My senses are heightened and my body is toned up.
