For the past fifteen years the elves of the Valaeri Dominion have been raiding the small villages of the Red Elf Territories. Astrid was taken during one of these raids as a young child and has grown up as a slave in the Pahar household. However, she is no ordinary slave, the Pahar's have her steal items to stock the shelves of their shop and sabotage their competitors.After stealing something extremely valuable from the wrong person, Astrid is taken away and thrust into a centuries old battle between the Gods and the first Champion, Varion. As Varion grows in strength he begins casting his gaze on the current Champions to the Gods as he seeks to take the Gods realm as well as the Elven lands.Astrid and her friends must find a way to banish Varion from their world once and for all before he takes over the realm.

Often we may analyse our own behavioural patterns. We share feelings amongst friends, formulate ideas and gain wisdom by increasing our knowledge through life's lessons. The words within are responses to the flow of thoughts produced from such occasions.The Poet:Mel Stewart finds her inspiration from life's colourful journey and is especially drawn to nature where she puts pen to paper to express her emotions about everyday occurrences. Living on the mid north coast of N.S.W. Australia provides an abundance of natural water resources for Mel to further her creativity in photography. She enjoys sharing her own thoughts and feelings about love and laughter, and the ups and downs that confront us on a daily basis, maintaining a positive outlook and her choice to find happiness in the simplest of things.
