Natalie Lyster was once an honorable soldier, having given years of service to the Galactic Alliance. But when a government conspiracy led to the death of a loved one, she went rogue. After years on the run, she now leads a criminal organization, working for the highest bidder. That bidder is the corrupt planetary union Czar. The job has taken Lyster and her crew to the planet Salacia. Their goal: excavate the zorbernite mineral from the slopes of the supervolcano Mount Ragnarök and deliver it to the Czar military. In their digging, they have found more than mineral... While returning from a supply run, Lyster's ship is intercepted by a strike force led by Commander Tucker Greyson. The chase leads through the planet's atmosphere, where it becomes an aerial assault. The pursuit goes haywire, for a swarm of giant alien wasps emerge from the mountainside and bring down the spacecrafts. Forced to travel on foot, Greyson and Lyster quickly learn the wasps are only the beginning of their problems. Man-eating raptors lurk behind every tree, ambushing everyone who gets too close; echoes of heavy footsteps reveal the presence of a larger predator hunting in the region; and heavy seismic activity from the mountainside warn of Mount Ragnarök's impending fiery wrath. With time running out, the group must reach the main campsite and commandeer a spacecraft, or else perish in the hellish fires of Mount Ragnarök.
Like shadows in the night, Captain Andrew Serrano and his elite team intercept the cargo ship Griffin, secretly owned by a Russian arms dealer. Their objective: capture the bio-engineer Dr. Hank Nore and deliver him to the C.I.A. The operation initially goes well, with the team overpowering the security forces and tracking their target to the lower decks. Backed into a corner, Dr. Nore resorts to desperate measures to avoid capture. When explosives breach the hull, the mercenaries are forced topside before the vessel sinks to the bottom of the Indian Ocean. Minutes later, they find themselves stranded on floating wreckage. Little do they know, their nightmare has only just begun. A large dorsal fin rises from the water. One of their numbers is quickly pulled under and torn to pieces. In that moment, Serrano realizes he and his team are being stalked by a ravenous shark. Before long, it becomes evident this is not a normal shark, but a product of genetic tampering. Mutated from the October Trial of the Titan Serum experimentations, the creature seeks to kill without discrimination. With bulletproof skin and armed with teeth sharp enough to pierce steel, it is the prototype for new age of biological warfare. With his team being massacred before his very eyes, Serrano's only chance for survival is to rid the world of The Titan Prototype.

The tributes paid by former players and colleagues are fulsome and fabulously flattering. Michael's father owned a photographic shop in Beckenham, Kent so the groundings were there. This led to him becoming serious about photography, though he began his working life as a graphic artist. Arthur, Michael's father, was mad about tennis and combined his passions by photographing Wimbledon, commencing straight after the war. From 1970 Cole covered Wimbledon and the other major tournaments, such as the US Open in New York, the French Open in Paris and the Stella Artois at Queen's. He travelled to Monaco, Portugal, Florida and Moscow to shoot the tennis stars in action, and often not in action. His speciality was the outré, the humorous and off-the-wall. Tennis Week stated, 'While everyone else is focused on forehands and backhands, Cole will notice the caterpillar climbing up the net post, the humorous moment as a ball kid tries to catch a moth. The combination of creativity and quirkiness, ' takes Michael's photography to another level. One event was a particular favourite for him. He states 'The French Open lends itself so much to ambience pictures. The people there are so well dressed, there's women, hats and children... In fact, I had more non-tennis pictures in my files from the French Open than any other.' In this book is a distillation of Michael Cole's brilliant tennis photography. For him the biggest challenge in creating this wonderful visual celebration of lawn tennis was deciding what to exclude. He has a passion and emotional attachment to every single one of his stunning photographs. One can see why.
Understand History's Most Enigmatic Serial KillerIn December of 1968, a serial killer began orchestrating a campaign of terror in the San Francisco Bay Area. Not satisfied with the simple act of murder, he taunted law enforcement and the public by writing letters to local newspapers. Through often cryptic and bizarre content-including four ciphers, three (now two) of which have never been solved-the psychopath played a twisted game. Reporters dubbed the man the "Cipher Killer," but the murderer chose a different name for himself: the Zodiac. Eventually, he would claim to have murdered thirty-seven. Law enforcement, however, could only account for five.In 1971, authenticated communications with the Zodiac ceased. The elusive fugitive resurfaced briefly three years later, sending a small number of communiqués, before disappearing for good. What started out with shocking abruptness slowly dissolved into mysterious uncertainty. To this day, the Zodiac's true identity remains one of the twentieth century's greatest mysteries...In Volume 1 of The Zodiac Revisited, Michael reviews the facts of the case, building a foundation for the analysis that follows in Volumes 2 and 3.
