The Gospel of Thomas all but disappeared during the persecutions however some very rare partial copies regularly turned up. Until it's rediscovery among many other well-known Scriptures near Nag Hammadi, Egypt in 1945. Known today as the "The Nag Hammadi library" is a collection of Gnostic texts. Twelve leather bound papyrus codices buried in a sealed jar were found by a local peasant named Mohammed Ali Samman. The writings in these codices comprised fifty two mostly Gnostic works, but they also include three works belonging to the Corpus Hermeticum and a partial translation or alteration of Plato's Republic. It is believed the Scriptural Codex's belonged to a nearby Pachomian monastery, and were buried after Bishop Athanasius condemned the use of non-canonical books in his Festal Letter of 367 AD. In AD 367, Athanasius of Alexandria authored the 39th Festal Letter, or Easter letter, which was approved at the Quinisext Council. In it, he listed the same 27 books of the New Testament that are in use today. Scholars generally place "The Gospel of Thomas" origin "meaning: origin of the COPY ONLY" sometime between the 1st and late 2nd centuries. The first was discovered in the late 1800's among the Oxyrhynchus Papyri, and consists of fragments of a Greek version, which has been dated to 200 AD. The second is a complete version, in Coptic, from Codex II of the Nag Hammadi finds. This Gospel presents as possibly earlier version than the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John that were recorded and compiled by 70 A.D. comprised of 114 "sayings of Jesus," some of which are similar to the sayings recorded in the canonical Gospels and some of which are not; however this gospel lacks the "polish" of the canonical gospels. The Gospel of Thomas is a collection of secret or private sayings, prophecies, proverbs, and parables of Jesus of Nazareth; many scholars believe this gospel provides insight into the Oral gospel traditions.

The Conflict of Adam and Eve with Satan also known as "The First & Second book of Adam and Eve", is broken up into two parts or books: Books 1 and 2 begin immediately after the expulsion by God our Father from the Garden of Eden, and ending with the testament and translation of Enoch. Great emphasis is placed in Book 1 on Adam's sorrow and helplessness in the world outside the garden.In Book 2, the "sons of God" who appear in Genesis 6:2 are identified as the children of Seth, and the "daughters of men" as women descended from Cain, who successfully tempt most of the Sethites to come down from their mountain and join the Cainites in the valley below, under the instigation of Genun, son of Lamech. This Genun, as the inventor of musical instruments, seems to correspond to the Biblical Jubal; however he also invents weapons of war. The Cainites, descended from Cain the first murderer, are described as exceedingly wicked, being prone to commit murder and incest. After seducing the Sethites, their offspring become or join with the Nephilim, the "mighty men" of Genesis. 6 who are all destroyed in the deluge of the Great flood of Noah, as also detailed in other works such as I Enoch and Jubilees. The Nephilim were the offspring of the "sons of God" and the "daughters of men" according to Genesis 6:4; and giants who inhabited Canaan according to Numbers 13:33. The term "Nephilim" occurs only twice in The Holy Bible, both in the Torah. The first is Genesis 6:1-4, and immediately before the story of Noah's ark. The second is Numbers 13:32-33, where the Twelve Spies report that they have seen fearsome man like giants in the lands of Canaan.The genealogy from Adam to Noah's sons is given, as in the Gospels, but including also the names of the wives of each of Jesus' ancestors, which is extremely rare. In general, this account begins where the Genesis story of Adam and Eve leaves off. Therefore the two cannot be compared; here we have a new chapter--a sort of sequel to the other. Here is the story of the twin sisters of Cain and Abel, and it is notable that here the blame for the first murder is placed squarely at the door of a difference over Woman. However perhaps the greatest evidence of Devine authenticity of this great "copy" correctly tells us of the number of days in a Solar Year, and that the earth was not flat but round, also that the earth is not the centre of the universe and the sun is the centre and all planets revolve around it... This "Copy" also details the number of planets and states that we have ten planets not nine as we teach today. However in 2005 a new planet was discovered in our Solar System named "Eris" which was discovered by the team of Mike Brown, Chad Trujillo, and David Rabinowitz on January 5, 2005, from images taken on October 21, 2003. These facts puts "The Conflict of Adam and Eve with Satan" un-deniable Holy Spiritual Devine Scripture and should be included in every Holy Bible translation in future times.

The Testament of Abraham is a great read, however written most likely by at least three different unknown persons; due to the fact that chapters tend to repeat the story over two to three times, however each chapter version seems to of have been written from a different point of view, one chapter reads as a narrative, another in second and third person view as if the onlooker. It is generally believed that this is most likely a Jewish composition from the early first century, although the actual date and original language are debatable and unprovable. Probably composed in the 1st or 2nd century AD, it is defiantly of Jewish origin and is usually considered to be part of the apocalyptic literature. E. P. Sanders writes: "The Testament of Abraham is a Jewish work, probably of Egyptian origin, which is generally dated to the latter part of the first century AD. The Testament of Abraham is generally considered a pseudepigraphic text of the Old Testament. It is regarded as scripture by Beta Israel Ethiopian Jews and the Mormon Church, but not by any other Jewish or Christian groups. It is often treated as one of a trio of very similar works, the other two of which are the Testament of Isaac and Testament of Jacob, though there is no reason to assume that they were originally a single work. All three works are based on the Blessing of Jacob, found in the Bible, in their style. The Greek Text was first edited, with an English translation and introduction, by M. R. James in 1892. The Greek text was also early edited by Vassiliev in 1893 and retranslated again in 2014, by Pastor Michael Gore. In the first nine chapters the archangel Michael vainly seeks to obtain the soul of Abraham, who refuses to die. A deal is arranged by which Abraham agrees to come with Michael if he can first see the created world, a wish that is granted and described in an apocalyptic section that covers chapters 10-14. Upon returning home Abraham refuses to die, but is eventually tricked by the angel of Death.
