Sei es im (Profi-)Sport, wo neben der körperlichen Fitness oftmals der "Kopf" oder im privaten Umfeld mit Fragen wie zum Beispiel "Wie schaffe ich es, mich beruflich weiterzuentwickeln?" die entscheidende Rolle spielt. Im Rahmen dieser Arbeit wird anhand einer konkreten Situation der Ablauf beziehungsweise die Durchführung von mentalem Training im Sport nachgezeichnet. Die Gründe für ein Mentaltraining sind ebenso vielfältig wie dessen Anwendungsbereiche. Angefangen vom Ablegen bestimmter Verhaltensweisen (zum Beispiel mit dem Rauchen aufhören) über die Stärkung des Selbstbewusstseins bis hin zur Überwindung von Leistungsblockaden, um nur einige zu nennen, kann Mentaltraining in allen Bereichen des Lebens zum Tragen kommen, das heißt sowohl im privaten als auch beruflichen Umfeld. Sportler können sich beispielsweise hiermit gezielt auf einen Wettkampf vorbereiten oder generell die eigenen Ressourcen stärken, um ihren Sport optimal auszuüben. On the other hand, for the first time the Roman law of the Twelve Tables revealed qualifying regulations in 450 B.C.E. Die Beiträge dieses Buches geben Antworten.Projekt Feuerwehren in der NS-ZeitIm Geschichtsprojekt von Deutschem Feuerwehrverband, Deutschem Feuerwehr-Museum und Universität Gießen erforschten Mannheimer Feuerwehrhistoriker die Zeit von 1933 bis 1945 und die Nachwirkungen. Aus dem Projekt ging eine Ausstellung hervor. Leider war wegen der COVID 19 Pandemie die Ausstellung im Rathaus und im Stadthaus nur sehr begrenzt durchführbar. Die Projektgruppe, bestehend aus vier Mannheimer Feuerwehrmännern, hat sich deswegen entschlossen, zusammen mit Dr. Clemens Tangerding für interessierte Mannheimer*innen und Interessent*innen über Mannheim hinaus, dieses Buch verlegen zu lassen.
