Looking back to all that occurred to me since that eventful day, I am scarcely able to believe in the reality of my adventures. They were truly so wonderful that even now I am bewildered when I think of them. I had my first vision when I was eleven years old. I was sitting close to the high jump pit at the Stanford football stadium. It was the 1962 USA - USSR Track and Field Dual Meet. Sports experts call it the greatest track meet of all time.
