Three English photographers are plunged into a world of corruption and murder on a photographic safari to Tanzania, Africa, when they find themselves pitched against the power brokers of the mining industry which is rapidly destroying the environment and wildlife of the region. In recounting the adventure of the three Englishmen, in a world far removed from their own, the author keeps us in constant suspense as the story carries us at breakneck speed through nature reserves and across the vast African savanna as violence and death follow them wherever they go. The English Photographer, written in a simple expressive style, shows us another side to the frenetic weeks spent there, when one of the men, the main character, falls in love with a mysterious Frenchwoman as they join forces to battle those, who driven by greed, are bent on a path of irreversible destruction.

Centinela del silencio es una obra donde el continuo suspense mantiene al lector al filo de la butaca. La lucha de Thérèse por librarse del diabólico maleficio que cayó sobre su padre y que también padece ella, se trasmitirá a sus descendientes, es un ejemplo fehaciente de la lucha del bien contra el mal. Al relatarnos la riesgosa aventura de tres fotógrafos por preservar el hábitat de esta región africana, la autora nos mantiene en constante suspense. Con un lenguaje sencillo y ameno, el protagonista refleja los sentimientos más puros del hombre. Entre ellos descuella el amor, en su más amplio espectro, yendo del filial al erótico. El amor es una dádiva de la autora en este apasionante relato de la lucha incesante entre los que aman y construyen y los que odian y destruyen.
