This delightful alphabet book is a great way for children ages 3-8 to learn about animals, discover new words, and play with sounds from A-Z. Younger children love to look at the fun pictures of animals in their natural habitat while learning the alphabet. Older ones follow the enchanting spell of a little wizard who summons animals from around the world letter by letter. A squawking seagull skims the sea, while a tardy turtle turns around a tree! Animals crawl, jiggle, and float everywhere- from the Antarctic to the desert, from the backyard to the ocean. Some are friendly while others are a little odd and unfamiliar! Combining illustrations and landscape photography, this book is full of captivating images. Rhyme and alliteration make this exciting alphabet adventure especially fun to read aloud time and time again.

Seminar paper from the year 2013 in the subject Psychology - Clinical Psychology, Psychopathology, Prevention, grade: 8, University of Groningen, language: English, abstract: That a positive attitude and psychological support can promote the therapy of cancer and even encourage the cure is a widely held view. In this paper the capabilities and limitations of positive psychology and psychotherapy will be discussed with the aid of two studies. The first one has laid the foundation for this research area and the second study replicated the latter using a more appropriate methodology. It will be shown that some assumptions made in recent decades are not more than parts of a myth, which is progressively dissolved by high quality studies.
