I remember when I used to work as a charge nurse at a hospital. One of my assignments was assigning job duties to other nurses. If a nurse is disobedient, some consequences follow such as being written up and of course no one likes to be written up because it goes in the annual evaluation. Perhaps, it has been many known cases for faulty accidents that have caused wrongful deaths. Obedience is necessary, and it is practicing godliness in our everyday living just as cleanliness is next to Godliness. When we obey and trust God, we are elevating Him, and He is happy with us. Nevertheless, when we disobey and doubt Him, we are belittling the His word. We have to lift our Heavenly Father by putting our trust in Him through overcoming life challenges.
