A collection of Poems by Paul Little, Embark on a journey through the poetic world of Paul Little, where daybreak finds him a starving poet and the night brings forth insomnia's torment. From a tender age, the author found solace in the written word, utilizing poetry as a medium to convey thoughts and emotions that often eluded understanding. It was only later in life that he uncovered his own battle with dyslexia-a revelation that did not hinder his unwavering dedication to the art of verse. Join Little as he traverses the depths of his soul, yearning to emulate the brilliance of Byron yet discovering a kinship with the essence of Shelley, albeit an uncharted facet. With each verse, he bares his heart, revealing the triumphs, tribulations, and whispered confessions that dwell within the realms of his poetic prowess. "I so wanted to be like Byron, but I ended up more like Shelley and even then not the good one"

This book is for you who were born with cleft lip and palate. I was born with a cleft lip and a cleft palate. This is not something that I talk about very often at all. It struck me that when I looked around for books on this subject I could not find anything that discussed what this meant in a useful way. Sure, there are lots of scientific books and very graphical images of the physical issue. There are a few books talking to the parents about how to raise the child but nothing spoke realistically about what it was like to be the child and to grow up feeling different. So in response this short Ebook of about 7000 words written for people who have been born with a cleft lip and or palate. It tells the story of my experience of growing up having been born with a cleft lip and palate. It does contain a 10 step survival guide. The conclusion is stated in the title: you are totally normal, just not necessarily average.

In January 1939, just months after hanging up his boots and a few weeks into his new career as a talent scout, William Ralph 'Dixie' Dean, the former Everton and England legend, received a surprise request for assistance from the far west of Ireland. Could he find a goalscorer for Sligo Rovers - the beating heart of a small, provincial town - to drive their dreams of a lucrative cup run and help protect the club's very existence? Dean set about finding the right man, but unable to locate candidates willing to make the move across the Irish Sea, he had an idea. What if he were to answer Sligo's call? And so began the unlikely story of how one of the greatest centre-forwards ever to grace the game added an unexpected and ultimately uplifting chapter to his storied football career.
