This book summarizes twenty-six church services that were attended in Lancaster city and county; in York county, where our home church is located; and two were in Pittsburgh two hundred and fifty miles west of our home in Lancaster. Eight of the summaries are for our home church, Gateway Church International. Four of the summaries are for the Worship Center in Leola, a church built on singing praises to our Creator. Six summaries are for three of the nineteen Lives Changed By Christ campuses. The basic format of the summaries is to detail the worship songs done during the service providing up to eight lines of lyrics for many of these songs. Then to detail the sermon, especially the specific bible verses referenced. Sometimes there were special events like baptisms. On a Wednesday night gathering we were blessed to see the movie 'Before the Wrath.' You will see little personal data here. The first purpose of this book is to promote theism: the belief that one God is the creator and designer of the universe. I give detailed evidence that God has created science and technology. Second is to show God''s hand in the U.S. Coast Guard. For example, the unofficial motto of the Coast Guard ''so others may live'' is based on Jesus'' statement: "Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." (Matthew 15:13 KJV). Third includes details on twelve different rescues, most by the U.S. Coast Guard. An exception, the December, 1950 rescue of 14,000 South Korean civilians fleeing communist troops. It also includes biographies for the 64 individuals who the Coast Guard fast response cutters are named after. Fourth are four fictional articles that God Almighty has given me to share. The Mordechai Letters were written by a Pharisee present when Jesus visited Jerusalem at the age of 12. Next, proposing a new holiday honoring Secundo Pia, the first man to photograph the Shroud of Turin. Then, the proposal to replace the phonograph records on Voyager 1 and 2 spacecraft. Finally, an article about the commitment to Jesus by a well-known actress. I give all credit for this arrangement of words to the Great I Am.

33 miners trapped 2400 feet below the Atacama Desert in Northern Chile for 69 days in 2010 and the hundreds of rescuers working 24 hours each day all believed that it was God''s hand that brought these men to the surface. The details of the rescue and the details of their prayers and praise to God are what this book is about.It was by God''s hand that the rescuers continued drilling until contact was made day 17. It was by God''s hand that a rare rainstorm occurred just a few days before the day 17 contact was made in this the driest desert on earth. This created a flowering desert which gave the rescuers and family members on site hope.It was by God''s hand that the NASA officials on site for the rescue could view the night sky in a place where astronomers come from all over the world due to the clarity of vision in this desolation. The Epilogue of this book details God''s hand in the rescue of 18 miners trapped underground at the Quecreek Mine in Somerset, Pennsylvania in July of 2002.9 of the men were trapped for 3 ┬╜ days. At one point the water raised up to their necks until the massive pumping effort with massive machinery started to reduce the level. It was by God''s hand that one of the drilling companies at Quecreek, sent two men and the drill to Chile to assist the rescue effort there.

When Blackpool Tower was being built, many people said it would be a failure. Originally estimated at GBP150,000, it ended up costing twice that much and John Bickerstaffe nearly went bust building this unique attraction. But he was right. Once the Tower was open, his company made a profit every year that it existed as an independent public entity. Not only was the Tower profitable, but it fuelled the Tower Company as Bickerstaffe built it into the dominant entertainment group in Blackpool. Under his leadership it acquired the Palace and later the Winter Gardens and Opera House. By the 1930s it was running ballrooms, cinemas, live theatre and the famous Tower Circus. The Bickerstaffe brothers were also key figures in Blackpool's civic life. This is a story of the Victorian entrepreneurship that created Blackpool's most iconic building, and led to Blackpool being the apogee of seaside entertainment.
