Many are still ignorant of the Personhood of the Holy Spirit. Some take Him as a power that one can use at will. No! He is the third Person of the Godhead who deserves our worship. In this book, Philip O. Akinyemi explains the Personhood, roles, baptism, gifts, and fruit of the Holy Spirit. Jesus the Son of God depended utterly upon the Holy Spirit in His earthly ministry, and we must do likewise.Chapter titles are: The Holy Spirit Works (Roles) of the Holy Spirit Work of the Holy Spirit in the Life of Jesus Christ Another Comforter Baptism with the Holy Spirit The Gifts of the Spirit The Fruit of the Spirit
There are those who think knowing about God is the same as knowing God. That is not true! Knowing God requires a relationship with Him. Knowing facts about God does not constitute a relationship, and not until you act based on the facts you have learned of Him will a relationship begin. Your relationship with Him opens up a better understanding of His character and His ways. Some people even serve God without truly having a relationship with Him. King David told his son Solomon, "Know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart." Unfortunately, many reverses that, and serve a God they don't really know.
The biblical stories in this picture book will help children remember that no matter what is happening in their lives or around them, God cares and watches over them day and night. Unlike parents, God does not sleep or get tired. God also knows the future. He is faithful and will always keep his promises. At the end of the book, I add some activities for the children to grasp the content.
