He holds an Ed.D. and M.S. from Eastern Kentucky University and a B.A. from Marshall University. He is a Certified Safety and Health Manager through ISHM, a Construction Health and Safety Technician through BCSP, and an active member of the Institute for Safety and Health Management. Professor Dotson has safety management experience in the public sector and private sector in general and construction industries.
