Descriptions of well-preserved trace fossils from Sweden This contribution to the Fossils and Strata series presents a detailed examination of the trace fossils in the Mickwitzia sandstone in Sweden. Trace Fossils from the Lower Cambrian Mickwitzia Sandstone, South-Central Sweden is Number 42 within the series. It also offers an interpretation of the environment in which the fossils formed. The Mickwitzia sandstone of south central Sweden is comprised of approximately 10 m of Lower Cambrian sediments deposited in an epicontinental setting. The international Fossils and Strata features monographs in palaeontology and biostratigraphy with taxonomic descriptions.
