It is often said that birds bring messages from spirit. I have a little bird living inside my heart. Her name is wordybird and she connects me to my soul. She places poems in my mind during poignant moments and sometimes I am least expecting it.

At important moments in our life, our soul strives to communicate with us, through our our dreams, through our thoughts and through our intuition. We must learn to trust our feelings, for they are the language of our spirit. They are the words of our soul. 'Solway Skies' is happiness, gratitude, grief, pain, confusion and appreciation translated into poetry. Each verse was written at a poignant time in the Authors life. The words invoke deep emotions in the reader and serve as a beautiful reminder that our souls are everlasting and no matter what happens, love will carry us forward.
