A Black Theology from the Ghetto by the GhettoAs the world moves into late modernity urbanisation is slowly being replaced by ghettoisation with its attendant hypersexuality, hyperviolence, hyperexploitation, and underdevelopment. From within these conditions the Black underclass of Harlem, New York were able to build a last days theory and outlook that came to not only give them high levels of dignity and empowerment, but also give them a culture and mentality that would dominate East Coast hip hop throughout what would come to be known as its golden age of the 1980s-2000s but even into our own time.

In an Age of American Empire What Real Hope is There for Black People? On Cultural Islam: A Godbody Sociology of 1990s Black America Shahidi Collection Vol 3 takes a novel look at life in late modernity, with specific focus on the 1990s and the global events that occurred during that momentous decade. It also investigates the godbody movement and seeks to find ways to define the power of the godbody movement so as to create an Islamic Reformation, a Reformation distinct from the Protestant Reformation with its racist and capitalist undertones. In that sense, On Cultural Islam is a book for those in the Muslim community who are less traditional and more radical, radical enough to seek to change the world.

Black Divinity exposes the intricate beauty and complexity of the New York City street culture to allow those outside to see that those in the United States street life actually do have a very respectable, while yet Afro-centric, doctrinal system (including a pneumatology, psychology, ethnology, anthropology, sociology, eschatology, soteriology, Christology and ecclesiology) and how it applies to the real world. It is also an attempt to fulfil the mission of the early Afro-centric movements and resurrect an Afro-chic culture that connects black people the world over with the souls of our ancestors in ancient Kush.As a veteran of the 1990s United States gang wars and champion of the Brooklyn, New York Crips Tony Saunders was accepted by the 5 Percent Nation as Shahidi Islam in 2014 after a life in the gangs of his community. Prior to that, though not officially joining he maintained an outside affiliation through the godbody and learned heavily from their ciphers and building sessions. Being an experienced member of the 187 Gangsta Crips and New York's Christian Life Center Church he also helped organize and promote the expansion of both Christian and Crip membership and development in the Flatbush, Brownsville and East New York areas of Brooklyn. Shahidi also travelled the length of the United States in communion with numerous ghetto communities across the country before doing time in prison for assault and getting deported to London. While in London Shahidi joined the Stop the War movement, the Fair Trade movement, the Make Poverty History, Live Simply, the Campaign Against the Arms Trade, the Socialist Workers Party and the Afrikan Co-operative Union, before connecting with, and this time properly joining the 5 Percent Nation, that exists in London promoting the development of an Afro-chic and Afrosensual culture in the black community.

Warning! This Book May Lead to High Levels of EmpowermentBlack Divinity: Institutes of the Black Theocracy Shahidi Collection Vol 1 is a book about the godbodies, who are a less radical version of the Nation of Islam. As a godbody Shahidi Islam attempts with Black Divinity to create a godbody theology and godbody sociology that can improve things for Black people. He also shows how the racial difficulties faced by Black people all over the world today are related to issues faced in times past and that a lot of the solutions planned years ago by the Black people of that time can be used in the current Black movement to achieve love, peace, and happiness. In this, Black divinity is not found in heaven-future but in Black men and women building a better world for themselves and their families, and the way they do that is by appreciating that their nature as Black people is actually divine.
