Stanley Paul Thompson has assembled nearly 300 more poems which continue chronologically starting in October 1, 2012 and ending May 18, 2013. It would be hard to find a more diverse collection of poetry; from his love affair up north, Navy carrier operations, family pets, Elves and Faeries, Norwegian lore, to rabbits and song birds. Underlying these nearly eight monthsis his courtship of whom he calls his Norwegian Princess. This poetry book is his sixth.

A Continuation of poems that were missed in volumes 5 through 9.

Don't Shoot This Poet and Many More Poems begins in early May of 2014 and ends six months later in October, 2014. 288 poems are included in this book; those left out are in my book; "Troth & Rapture - 400 Sonnets". I continue my tabulation of poems beginning in November, 2014 in a following book. This poetry book has many facets; love and romance, trips in an Winnebago RV, a lovable cat, birds that feed on cracked corn and thistle, veterans at the New Mexico State Veteran's Home in Truth or Consequences, NM, old Norwegian tales, political talk, climate from a meteorologist, songs and dances, riding a train, males and gals and many more that are sure to inspire imagination.

Book number 1 or At Peace With Earlier Poems was the very first poems written and was skipped because of the two books of Sonnets published. So this is catch-up of those poems missing from Book 1 through Book 4 which were not Sonnets or published in previous titles.

Within are poems of love, animals, Nordic thoughts, sonnets of bliss, the scope of God's heaven, women's tattoos, flying, weather and many others too numerous to list. Read a few each night, there are 220 poems to last a long time. These poems, chronologically listed, continue the thoughts of the author as he explores his surroundings. While a few poems are more like prose the vast majority are in rhyme and meter. Shakespeare, Keats, Lord Byron and Shelley inspired this author.

Rather than make a career of poetry, Stanley Thompson has engaged a number of careers from which he has drawn the details and essence of personal experience which he brings forth in Sonnets of Life Well Spent. Motivated by the death of his beloved wife Patricia in 2011, the stories of his journey have come into sharper focus with an enhanced meaning that has allowed him to present this collection of 126 poems in the style of memoir. The reader will not only experience sonnets in the format, and even in the tone, of William Shakespeare, but will come to appreciate the life of the author, a life, indeed, well spent.

Book number 9 or K. L. T. With More Poems marks the end of one love affair and the beginning of what will become my final relationship; in saecula saeculorum or for ages of ages: forever and ever I am referring to Karen, who on March 15th, 2014 became my wife. This book is full of love and other interesting tidbits.

This is the fifteenth poetry book published by kdp through Amazon by this author.

A book or poems, mainly in meter and/or rhyme, these will satisfy almost everyone. Later volumes of poems do have their dates listed.

A huge pile of slag as we leave riding the Verde Canyon rail, hand laid by men, would you believe they got drunk and wound up in jail. Little would they know we would ride in plush surroundings, eating well; sloshed down with Tequila, we bide along with Merlot; life is swell. As we ride a voice tells of yore how early peoples settled here to view the fold and faults that soars above the river running clear. Thus reads this poem of which the title implies; a railroad trip. Of course there are many other stories contained within these 342 poems. Stories of love, writing poetry, old England, pets, birds and animals, Greek and Roman gods and goddesses, favorite haunts of the poet, veterans, the moon and many additional themes.
