Inspired by the odes of John Keats, I would like to write poetry which touches the soul. My early poetry is about imagery and beauty. Then I moved onto a period of trying to create mood with the artist Paul Klee's remark in mind: 'Art is not about reproducing the visible. It renders visible.' This followed with some verses trying to describe depression. Finally, there are some abstract poems which try to convey what happens when we reach the end of language.
In this compelling narrative, seven exceptionally talented individuals, each excelling in distinct fields, find themselves together in a psychiatric hospital. Here, they are under the care of an empathetic doctor who strives to help them confront their personal challenges and fulfil their aspirations. Their journey takes a turn with the arrival of an anorexic girl, who inspires them towards an action that has the potential to alter the world. However, their plans are threatened by two characters determined to thwart their efforts. Intriguingly, the story is peppered with numerous references to George Orwell's 1984, presenting a sort of literary treasure hunt for readers. Yet, in contrast to Orwell's dystopian vision, this tale leans towards a more utopian perspective. It is also imbued with elements reminiscent of fairy tales, adding layers of depth and whimsy to the narrative.
Steve Hawk and his wife Marta are living a dream life in a villa in the Virgin Islands, under the U, S, Witness Protection Program, The reason for being in this program is that Marta's brother Hugo, who is a despotic head of a major drug cartel, has placed a hit on them with a large bounty. They believe that they are safe from him in the Witness Protection Program, but there is one huge if in their life. Their one concern is that if he finds them they are likely to be killed. So their dream life could quickly change into a nightmare, and it does. Steve believes that he has to use his past experiences and friends, from his special ops days, to put a stop to their hiding. He concludes that the only way to stop Hugo is to disable his cartel by eliminating Hugo and the entire operation. He begins a personal vendetta against Hugo, that leads to dangerous actions across three countries, where he finds himself to be the prey as well as the hunter. It becomes a race as to who kills whom first.
