    Picking up from book #1 Billy and Randy have finished there trapping season, returning to Albany to sell their furs to Bill Owlett and start back training horses and forging steel. Pierre has expanded the forging business over the winter, Randy has grown during the winter, and has become a true man of the wilderness. Billy started a wagon business to go along with his forge shop and draft horse operation, on a trip to New Haven to purchase two wagons for the fort commander in Albany. Billy and Randy meet Colonel George Washington and start to make plans to send the British back to England.
