It has been said that Monk Tang has sought for true scriptures, however it's worth debating for the truth of scriptures. Using the truth from scriptures as a basic consideration, this book creates a new interpretation for the "Journey to the West" stories, and elaborates on a few points that stick out: the stories did not happen in the real world, but was mental activities; the Monkey king, Sun Wukong, is a symbol which corresponds to Monk Tang's mind; the so-called true scriptures are already well grasped by Monk Tang, therefore making him not a seeker of the true scriptures, but one who practices it. This book continues to search for the unknown scriptures, discuss probable contents, and explains what impact it would have on a seeker's mentality.
