Ethan Kwon is in a rut. After a successful debut graphic novel, he's been stuck with a case of writer's block that has left both him and his demanding editor frustrated. So he did what any sensible artist would do-packed up his entire life, sublet his apartment, and rented a cozy farmhouse in a small, rural town he'd hadn't heard of the week before. He's hoping the change of scenery will help him get some inspiration and some relief from his editor's phone calls. Unfortunately for Ethan, the scenery is also part of the problem. Every guy he meets in the quaint, cozy town of Adelbury is unnervingly hot. There's Carlos, his cheerful, sweet-faced centaur landlord; Nareth, the British dark elf librarian with a charming smile; and Luke, an orc and the local mechanic, whose biceps are about to burst out of his jumpsuit. Ethan is supposed to be focusing on his next project-but small-town living keeps him busy with pumpkin patches and town fairs, and the townsfolk themselves keep his anxiety at an all-time high. Still, he'll have to find his inspiration somewhere-and sometimes that comes from unexpected places.
Elijah has grown up on the far-flung farming colony of Dhat-Badan, but he's always longed for adventure out in the galaxy. When the cargo ship Chimera passes through, Elijah takes a chance and stows away. The mysterious captain, however, does not take charity cases-so if Elijah wants to remain, the pair are going to have to come to an arrangement that will allow both of them to be satisfied.
With Ciaran's magic stripped from him by Noah's deadly spell, there's only one option open to the wounded fairy--return to his ancestral home of Tír na nÓg and beg for aid from the family he fled. He isn't adjusting well to being human, and his health and memory are fading fast, but the land of the fairies has its own dangers. The trip will take Trent far outside his comfort zone and stress the limits of the couple's burgeoning relationship. Ciaran has been keeping secrets, and one of them may be too much for Trent to accept.Noah isn't faring much better. Plagued by visions of memories not his own, he's forced to rely on Julien to help find a way to undo the spell, or complete it and kill Ciaran at last. Julien is tortured by guilt, working tirelessly to track Ciaran down and cure his friend, all the while pretending he still sees Noah only as a friend. The hunter has all but run out of leads when a mysterious fairy arrives with a mission to bring Noah to Tír na nÓg for an ancient healing ritual. Their problems seem to be solved, until the fairy reveals the catch--to restore Ciaran's magic and his memories, Noah must die.
Nothing is ever easy. Just when Trent thought things were going well, an old debt of Ciaran's has reared its head. To settle it, the pair are forced to travel to Lochlann, a mystical forgotten island supposedly populated by a warlike and secretive race with a history with the Tuatha Dé Danann. With Noah and Julien along, the witch determined to keep his promise to his new friends, the group will face storms, monsters, political intrigue, and a greater enemy than any of them could have anticipated.
When Trent Fa, misanthrope and self-induced loner, finds an injured man in his apartment, he's ready to call the police. When the man tries to tell him that he's not a man at all, but a fairy, Trent is ready to call a mental hospital. Ciaran isn't what Trent would have expected a fairy to be--he's handsome and sly, with a thick Irish brogue and a biting wit. He says he's on the run from a hunter of all things dangerous and supernatural, and he makes himself a hideout of Trent's posh apartment despite the other man's misgivings. The two get along like a pair of bad-tempered cats, and neither of them are interested in romance. Despite having a hunter on his trail and a bad history of being used, Ciaran can't seem to help noticing his reluctant host, and Trent is finding it more and more difficult to keep his desires closeted. The first in an ongoing series.

Noah had always wondered about Julien's family--but now that they're forced to share a house while they work together to save the world, he kind of wished he'd been able to keep that mystery alive.
