Tim Murphy was born in Cork and lives in Madrid. In 2019 SurVision Books published his chapbook, "The Cacti Do Not Move." In 2021 he was a winner of the inaugural Laurence Sterne Prize for his chapbook, "Young in the Night Grass" (Beir Bua Press). "Mouth of Shadows" is his first full-length collection.
