Although immortality seems to become a target, modern technologies have proposed new solutions to address the subject in a more realistic manner than mythology or science fiction, often very fascinating. Such technologies do not border on the absurd, instead, they rely on some recent scientific data and research in physics and biology, abandoning conventional processes ¿ excellent in their time, but today they tend to limit the horizon of thought and knowledge. The idea of cybernetic immortality is to induce our consciousness in a virtual space. If this virtual space will be temporary, as ours, or immortal, it will, of course, depend on software that we do, to get into those spaces. Of course, all these presume that our perceptions, feelings, emotions and our existence are the result of electrical impulses, to whose dominion will handle those able to get up there when we take existence in a virtual world. Thus we ask a normal question: Is it possible that man ¿ every person on Earth ¿ to live forever? Some believe that it is and even want this, some are afraid that it is possible, some hope not and others are convinced that it isn¿t possible.
Do we want to have extremely advanced nano-particles constantly crawling in our body to monitor and warn diseases? Do we want to be warned about the imminence of a danger to a loved one? Do we want to avoid traffic accidents that can cost human lives? Do we want to download the contents of a 1000 pages book into our implanted chip in less than a second? Do we want to instantly access the business/project database that we run from wherever we are, and be warned about possible failures? Welcome to the new brave world of "human body digitalization"!
Cyber space is now an essential part of our societies and economies, and may even become a determining factor in our lives. Even though most of business and projects, especially those in transnational environment, are highly dependent on information technology, many of them underestimate the risks of cyberspace and suffer business costs caused by hacker attacks, viruses and malware. Cybercrime is already flourishing in areas with weak cyber governance like in Eastern Europe, and consequently in Romania. International, EU regional and national vigilance and collaborative intelligence are crucial. A global dialogue among governments, society, and the private sector, can help create agreement on how to secure the Internet economy. Romania government should also cooperate in developing an international and regional information exchange and early warning mechanisms in cooperation with strategic partners, USA and NATO, for rapid reaction in case of crisis, as well as establishing EU Cyberspace Policy Framework.
In recent decades, the number of urban vehicles has risen rapidly, causing problems such as traffic congestion and prolonged parking space search. In order to overcome the problem of parking space searches, large overground/ underground car parks have been built in city centers and other high-demand areas for parking spaces, such as office buildings, malls, airports. Technology based intelligence systems developed within Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) should be implemented to inform drivers of the number of available parking spaces and their distribution between different parking spaces or between different levels of a specific place parking. These ITS-based information systems use different sensors to detect the presence of machines on a parking space such as magnetic, infrared or ultrasound sensors and belong to classic parking management systems. These sensors must be installed in each parking space and require significant installation and maintenance efforts. The goal of this study is to develop such a parking control system that monitors and informs about the amount of parking space available.
