I have always believed that each organization is like a cog-wheel and each one of you contributing to it becomes an important cog of it. This book is for anyone who is an individual partaking as a cog at any level in any service or manufacturing organization and curious about 'Who', 'How' n 'What' of power man personalities scheming, managing, planning and controlling them, curious about what makes them power man and different than others.
With the rise of social media, people started sharing opinions or experiences, exchanging ideas, providing suggestions etc. by using different means of online communication. We, the human beings, like to take the opinions or suggestions of our loved ones for taking decisions in our day-to-day activities. Nowadays, online opinions are playing a central role in people decision-making process. When it comes to online scenario, these opinions can be expressed in different forms on different online environments - people use online social networks like Facebook to express their feelings in the form of a post; micro-blogging websites like Twitter provide people away to interact and share their thoughts globally in the form of a tweet; users write reviews about products or services on review platforms to share their experiences; people taking advice or leaving comment on a blog network; discussion forums provide rich content to people to have discussions on different topics of interest in the form of question/answer posts or comments;
- A detailed survey of the painting styles of Guler and Kangra in the 18th and 19th centuries- Analyses the impact of the Bhakti movement and of Mughal painting on the painting traditions of the region- With more than 150 images of paintings, the book is a visual treat for scholars as well as general readersPainting in the Kangra Valley is an attempt to survey the painting styles of Guler and Kangra, which flourished in the 18th and 19th centuries. The painting activity began with Kashmiri painters, who started receiving royal patronage during the reign of Raja Dalip Singh (1695-1741) of Guler. But it attained culmination during the long reign of Maharaja Sansar Chand (1776-1823) of Kangra. The royal atelier of Kangra produced a large number of paintings covering diverse subjects. The advent of the Bhakti movement in north India had a tremendous impact, resulting in a preference for Krishna themes for the artists of Guler and Kangra. The sentiment of love is the main subject of Guler-Kangra paintings. They illustrate the finest specimens of various kinds of nayika described by the Hindi poets of the riti genre. The female figures seen in these paintings are depicted as graceful and beautiful idealizations, handled by the painters with utmost delicacy and tenderness. Vijay Sharma's analytical approach, based on facts, gives new insights into the origin and development of the Guler school and the marked influence of later Mughal painting on the styles of Manaku and Nainsukh. Featuring around 160 images this book is a significant read for researchers as well as connoisseurs.
Space tourism is a very new idea that was once thought of as no more than science fiction just like visiting the moon once was also and has been left untouched, due to certain restrictions. The idea has been around for many years, even before the first rocket went into space. During the project, we researched upon the topic of space tourism and the pros and cons of developing a space tourism industry. We also planned commercial missions to sub-orbit, low earth orbit and circumnavigate the Moon. Concluding the project,the feasibility of space tourism was analyzed using SWOT model. The major changes that will come from this new industry, as well as ideas and solutions to problems that might arise from this industry were also discussed.
In this thesis leakage reduction techniques like stack forcing, multiple threshold CMOS, variable threshold CMOS are explored, that mitigate leakage in circuits, operating in the active mode at various temperatures. Also, implications of technology scaling on the choice of techniques to mitigate total leakage are closely examined. The result is guidelines for designing low-leakage circuits in nanometer technology nodes. Logic gates in the 180nm, 130nm, 100nm and 70nm technology nodes are simulated and analyzed. Here delay analysis of various logic circuits are also examined.
