The global shift towards digital farming and the use of technology in agriculture sector, helps confront the main factors threaten the agriculture sector in the world including but not limited to climate change, poverty, fresh water shortages, desertification, and energy waste. On the other hand, precision agriculture works to increase crop production and monitor it through the use of modern technologies such as Remote Sensing, Drones, Robots, etc. In order to maintain and sustain the agricultural sector, it is vital to increase awareness and knowledge among students and stakeholders, as well as motivation and innovation in education and scientific research in the field of precision agriculture. This book covers key areas of precision agriculture research and education. An adequate overview to digital farming was provided. Many international models of digital farming have also been presented. In addition to offering developed and produced courses and curriculum in the field of precision agriculture that were developed by the authors of this book, whom participate on the Erasmus+ project entitled 'Boosting Innovation in Education and Research of Precision Agriculture in Palestine - BENEFIT'. Their expertise and experience in managing international projects of capacity building in training, scientific research and developing educational courses and curricula in precision agriculture field have provided important models in this book that can be emulated and used by researchers, teachers, students, farmers and other stakeholders of precision agriculture.
