Sadie is down to just 280 vacation hours to use by the end of the year. Her travels have helped her find fresh confidence, but just before her trip to beautiful Savannah, a project hits the fan at work. She feels guilty going off on a vacation in the middle of a crisis, but her boss absolutely insists. Despite reassurances that her job will still be there when she gets back, she's finding it hard to enjoy her trip. Will she see it through or go home early? Will Sadie crumble like a burnt pie crust, or will Savannah teach her how to show herself a little grace?
Once upon a time, there lived a girl. She knew she was destined for greatness. She knew that greatness came with responsibilities. She knew the King would protect her, though she'd never seen Him face to face. She wished her duties came with an instruction manual. And then she found this book! The princess culture in our world today has taken over everything: our childhood toys, our books, our movies, and our attitudes. Girls and women today are told from birth that they are a "princess" who deserves the best. Her knight will come to rescue her in due course, and she will live happily ever after in the very lap of luxury. Sounds great, right? But what if the true Daughters of the King shifted that Princess Culture from a worldly one to a Heavenly one? The results could grow the Kingdom exponentially. In Princess Culture, Christian girls are cordially invited on a journey that could change the course of history by changing their futures. Are you brave enough to live the Princess Culture?
Sadie's final 160 vacation hours, and her biggest trip ever, get off to a rocky start. Once she's on that flight to Frankfurt, though, it's smooth sailing. Well, until she actually gets to Frankfurt. Then things really start to get out of hand. Over the course of her trip, she deals with seven hours' worth of jet lag, feels her first-ever pangs of homesickness, and finds out that just because she knows how to travel, doesn't mean she knows how to travel in Europe. But she has five countries on her itinerary and a commitment to see it through, whether she likes it or not. Christmas in Europe may or may not be all she imagined it would be, but there's only one way to find out!
Sadie Taylor has two jobs: proofreading for major editing firm Thrive Life, and using 400 hours of vacation time. After a less-than-perfect-yet-life-changing trip to gorgeous Kauai, she decides to visit an island of a different sort: Nantucket. While there she enjoys lobster, friendly locals, laid-back island life, and cool sea breezes. But she's about to find out that the best laid travel plans mean nothing in the grand scheme of things. Air travel is good when it's good, and awful when it's bad. Will Nantucket be the epic travel experience she thinks it is, or will she give up on travel altogether?
Sadie is probably the most disappointed person on her flight to O'ahu. As of two days ago, her November trip was supposed to be to New York City to visit her friend-but-maybe-more, Kwon. But all that changed with one text, so now she's headed back to where her travels started: Hawaii. With her self-confidence practically shattered, she's not sure if anything she thinks she knows is right. The weather has changed back home, and the gloom of fall has taken its toll on her as well. Is a tropical getaway just what she needs, or is she wrong about that, too?
Sadie has sworn off travel... but that didn't last long! She still has 320 hours to go to use up all her vacation time by the end of the year. With renewed resolve not to miss out on her own life, she's determined to use those hours to the fullest. When looking for a flight deal for her next trip, Washington, DC, seems like a great idea. History, museums, international cuisine... DC has all the makings of trip she'll love! But when the wheels (literally) fall off, the lines are long, and the heat is on, Sadie might just have to find out what she's made of and take some inspiration from those who came before her.
Sadie is so close she can taste it: only 240 more vacation hours to go by the end of the year. But now she's actually enjoying her vacations. It's October, and she's heading to Vermont to get the best of New England's fall colors. One problem: Sadie hates fall. She is excited, however, to be bringing her friend Jenny along for this trip. They're splitting the car and the hotel, so it will practically be a bargain! Unfortunately, she might actually end up with more than she bargained for. Jenny's a little high-maintenance, a little boy-crazy, and a little opinionated. Will they still be friends by the time they get home?
