An independent young Irish lass inherits a coffee shipping business in the mid 1800's in Boston USA. Business thrives for the first three years then trouble begins to materialize with late shipments endangering the already signed contracts. Her younger brother, fresh out of business college comes for a visit and discovers she is having a lot of problems. He offers to go to South America and see what is causing the problems. He is successful.

"Bracebridge" is number six in the Mike Murphy Park Ranger, series.. It is about a dinner that has taken place in Yosemite National Park, almost every December since 1927. Massive snowstorms complicate things, but Mike and his crew manage to keep things under control.

"Midnight Storm" is a collection of short stories about living in the Southwest and Alabama. The collection is dedicated to Terry Wayne and Penny Louise who passed in infancy. The first story,"Midnight Storm" is fictional about a brother and sister who often visit their grand parents on their farm in West Texas. "A Few Marbles" is a true story of a marble championship between a boy nine and a girl ten years old. "Fog" is fictional and about two young brothers who come to both love and trust each other. "The Beekeeper and Grandma" is also a true story about a brother and sister who visit their grand parents in West Texas.

"Ride For The Brand" the sequel to "The Coffee Shoppe" takes the reader to South America where Jimmy O'Connell is a successful coffee plantation owner. He also has a passion for wild mustang horses and is injured while breaking them to saddle. His injuries are severe but by the actions of a loving wife, he fully recovers. He has a son and daughter, twins and teaches his son some of the values that were handed down to him by his father.

"Molly" is the third short story in the Mike Murphy Park Ranger series. Forest fires and earthquakes occur almost every day in California. In 2013, A fire, known as The Rim fire consumed over 175,000 acres of forest and grass lands. Animals and their habits were greatly affected, some never returned. In"Molly", Mike and his fellow firefighters, save the day. Mike and Alanah have a new son and Molly presents them with two cubs of her own.

"Lady In The Mist" is three short stories. The title story is about a lady who lives in a large city but moves to the suburbs to help her ailing aunt and discovers she may have lived there in another lifetime. "Shadows and Lies" is about a mobster who gets out of the mafia at the risk of his life. He and his family escape and find a new life in Australia. "Mama Loy" is about a woman who lives in the Louisiana bayous and is said to be a witch doctor. She rescues a group of tourists who become stranded during a hurricane.

"Two Times X" is about a story that was written about sixty-five years ago while in the seventy grade. It is about two teenage boys who break into a laboratory and borrow a time machine. Things don't go as planned and they end up on another planet in another star system. On this new planet they get involved in a war between two cultures. Only one of the brother's survive and return to earth.

"Visitor" is the fourth novel in the Mike Murphy Park Ranger series. In the novel a Grand Sachem, Tarhe, is sent back to perform several good deeds to make amends for things he did as a young warrior. One of those good deeds involves rescuing a young lad. This young lad is destined to become a scientist whose desire is to build underwater cities to help ease the world's over population on land areas.

"The Bear" is about a Yosemite Park Ranger, Mike Murphy who enjoys the outdoors and everything in it. A ranger's duties include but are not limited to, greeting visitors, trail maintenance, visitor safety, first-aid, search and rescue operations and animal emergencies. In the park, bears become acclimated to eating human food and sometimes will go to great lengths to get it, including breaking vehicle windows. Interactions between park guests and bears are an everyday occurrence except during the winter months when bears hibernate. In the history of Yosemite Park there has never been a fatal accident between bears and guests.

"Ice" is the firth novel in the Mike Murphy Park Ranger series. In Ice, two newlywed couples are stranded in a ski hut. A massive snow storm has centered itself directly over Yosemite Park. All rescue aircraft has been grounded, including helicopters. Two rangers volunteer to try and rescue them before their food runs out.

"Lost" is the second part in the Mike Murphy Park Ranger series. The story tells about three instances of park guests who get lost while on vacation and are rescued. The first is an experienced climber who leaves his group to climb solo and becomes injured. The second is about a teenage member of a bird watching club who sees a giant horned howl and loses track of where he is. The third instance is about a lady professor who goes off trail to look at some interesting rock formations and gets separated from her group.
