Three thousand to four thousand years ago, Native Americans first inhabited the the Grand Canyon. The Pueblo Indians built adobe houses around the canyon and made animal figures out of twigs. The first traces of human settlement found in Tallinn's city center by archeologists are about 5000 years old.
