Always wear white clothing. Revelation 3:5 ¿The one who conquers will be clothed thus in white garments, and I will never blot his name out of the book of life. I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels.¿ In heaven, Jesus will acknowledge these believe ¿Whosoever therefore shall confess Me before men, him will I confess also before My Father which is in heaven.¿ Matthew 10:32 (KJV) It requires something other than reason and logic to win the case. Ephod was a special piece of garment, meant specifically to cover the body, and, contrary to popular dress of the times. Popular dress was for appearance and style. Apologists must consider clothing for covering and for work that are reasonable and do cover the body completely. Clothing plays a vital role in health and medicine. White clothing is healthy. All health workers do wear white. Needless to say, it is a healthy clothing to wear for work.
Mission is the participation of the people of God in God¿s action in the world. The theological and critical reflection about mission is called missiology. Missiology is a multi-disciplinary and cross-cultural field of study incorporating theology, anthropology, history, geography, theories and methods of communication, comparative religion, Christian apologetics, education methodology, and interdenominational relations.
In life, you might face different situations when you would feel like giving up. A mature and wise man would never do so! Remember that nothing converts into a success right after the first attempt. All those successful personalities that you see around you today is none other than the ones who have never accepted failure. They might have failed in their lives a million times, but they didn¿t accept it even for a single time. They have always been the ones who kept on trying over and over again. Life is not a bed of roses, and in this trodden path, you may find difficulties, but successful are the ones who keep on walking through that same way despite all the hurdles that had come along that way. Persistence is an extremely important factor in determining whether or not you will be able to achieve success in your life. There would be times when you would feel like giving up, but the moment you give up, you accept your failure and refuse to stand up all over again. In accepting defeat, the game gets over right there and then. If you truly want to achieve success you have to learn to keep on going, no matter the challenges you face along the way.
GOD¿S LOVEFor God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God¿s one and only Son. 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.A Merciful God. If it was love that moved him to create us and covenant himself to us, it was mercy that moved him to sustain us and walk with us through the centuries. When he res¬cued them from slavery in Egypt, this God entered into a covenant with all of the people, not just Moses. He guided them through the dangers of the desert and made them a promise: ¿If you obey me completely"...
This research was carried out in order to ascertain what action the Christians should take when they encounter terrorism. The research was historical and analytical studies carried out through library research as well as the use of structured interview guides, which wereadministered on the clergymen, academia, and others in the society. In the course of research, the researcher discovered that the concept of Just War existed even before the era of St. Augustine among the Asians, the Chinese, and Greco-Roman World and has been used to represent a war that was fought for a just cause, and as the last resort. St. Augustine later adopted it as a Christian standard because of his conviction of the existence of such war theory among the Judeo-Christian concept of war. This knowledge was first passed to him by Ambrose of Milan, which he developed in The City of God as rules for Christian¿s response in times of war. The research covers the period between 2000 ¿ 2015, although some other earlier and latter dates may be included as a matter of emphasis. The scope of the study covers North Eastern Nigeria.
"What does the Bible say about second chances?"- God is not only the God of second chances; He is the God of another chance. This is good news because most of us mess up the second chance fairly quickly. One of the amazing facets of God¿s character is His incredible patience with us. Psalm 86:15 says it well: "But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness." Micah 7:18 says, "Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity and passing over transgression for the remnant of his inheritance? He does not retain his anger forever, because he delights in steadfast love."The Bible is full of people who received second chances, and even third and fourth chances: Peter, Jonah, Samson, David, and others. All trophies of God¿s grace.Just as God is patient and forgiving, He wants His children to be patient with and forgiving of others. "Therefore, as God¿s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience" (Colossians 3:12). He gives us second chances, and we must give the same to others. Jesus gives a stern warning to those who refuse to forgive-e.g. the lord's Prayer
God is forgiving. When we think that not long time ago, we discovered Peter¿s three denials of Jesus. We remember his anguish upon the hearing of the rooster crowing, because Jesus had prophesied of these denials. Today, we return to that story, but see the renewal of commitment. In Peter¿s story we are reminded that God loves to give a second chance.Text: After this, Jesus revealed Himself again to His disciples by the Sea of Tiberias. He revealed Himself in this way:2 Simon Peter, Thomas (called ¿Twin¿), Nathanael from Cana of Galilee, Zebedee¿s sons, and two others of His disciples were together.3 ¿I¿m going fishing,¿ Simon Peter said to them.¿We¿re coming with you,¿ they told him. They went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing.4 When daybreak came, Jesus stood on the shore. However, the disciples did not know it was Jesus.5 ¿Men,¿ Jesus called to them, ¿you don¿t have any fish, do you?¿¿No,¿ they answered.6 ¿Cast the net on the right side of the boat,¿ He told them, ¿and yoüll find some.¿ So they did, and they were unable to haul it in because of the large number of fish.( 7)Therefore the disciple, the one Jesus loved, said to Peter, ¿It is the Lord!¿
God remembers, forgets, mentions, seeks and waits for but never takes sleep or catches catnap as God likes, his own styles to remind. Who wants satisfaction finds it. God taught creations and those are on. The earth had been created for humans to live upon to then come back to before God. Some of the contents of the book are hard, some are soft, some are rolling, some are watering, some are cautioning and some are poetry. In razzle or in cell, consequences might differ. Ratiocination is inclusive. Death and life are running after each other and at last life would have to survive. That¿s what the humans are for.
¿WHY ¿THANK YOU¿ IS MORE THAN JUST GOOD MANNERS¿ According to positive psychologists, the words ¿thank yoü are no longer just good manners, they are also beneficial to the self. ¿To take the best known examples, studies have suggested that being grateful can improve well-being, physical health, can strengthen social relationships, produce positive emotional states and help us cope with stressful times in our lives.¿ But we also say thank you because we want the other person to know we value what they¿ve done for us and, maybe, encourage them to help us again in the future. ¿It¿s this aspect of gratitude that Adam M. Grant and Francesco Gino examine in a series of new studies published recently in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology (Grant & Gino, 2010).¿ They wanted to see what effect gratitude has on the person who is being thanked. Does it motivate and, if so, is it just by making people feel good, or is it more than that? ¿HOW GRATITUDE WORKS¿ The idea that saying thank you makes people more likely to help in the future is unsurprising, although the 100% increase is interesting, but what the researchers were interested in was why this happens. I want to thank you.
Prophesies of the end time are playing out like a professionally written film script now ¿ in our presence. Earth quakes in various places, wars and rumors of wars, famines, deceases and pestilences, love of many waxing cold, false prophets everywhere and on the increase, many have come to claim they are the Christ etc., all these are already fulfilled but the prevalent counterfeit Church of the present day world - lost in the quest for power and material resources of this world pretend not to observe the imminent apocalypse. She believes the fulfillment of prophesies may be expected in about 2000 years or even more to come. As a result of this wrong assumption, the church is oblivious to the existence of the Devil¿s propaganda machinery and its domineering propaganda activities with many of the church leaders and church members being agents of this machinery and many of the church pulpits serving as platforms for the propagation and lunching of the devil¿s propaganda warfare agenda.
Our work takes up the messages of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth received from July 2019 to July 2020. Our lord had said that we receive power and we will be his witnesses, so pushed by spirit of God, I do that the Lord testify through this book.In fact, it is the role of the prophet, that of awakening the people of God on the events which await them in their march towards the promise city ¿the new Jerusalem.¿ Which awaits them adorned on:- The false gospels that rule the world,- The rapture of the redeemed,- The judgment seat of Christ,- The satanic trinity ( dragon or anti-God, the beast or antichrist, the false prophet or anti- Holy Spirit),- The thousand year reign of our Lord,- The mystery of iniquity which is the mark of the beast, the initiation, the brainwashing of people in occult practices which prepare the imminent arrival of the antichrist,- The judgment of the white throne,- The lamb¿s book of life,- A new universe as the residence of redeemed in presence of the Living God ¿The new Jerusalem.¿
The wisdom and insights on the care of natural creation by a twelfth century medieval woman Hildegard of Bingen together with the twenty first teachings of Pope Francis on the problem of the current global ecological crisis are highlighted in this book. The German prophetic visionary Hildegard of Bingen¿s originally preserved writings and art works that describe, analyze and interpret her extraordinary visions have been revived, researched and written about in recent years. Hildegard, who was a forgotten figure for approximately nine hundred years has been brought to the fore in recent years largely as a result of her being declared a doctor of the Church in Rome by Pope Benedict XVI in 2012. This book explores Hildegard¿s closeness and understanding of natural creation from Christian theological and spiritual perspectives in the light of Pope Francis¿ contemporary encyclical Laudato Si¿. Both authors, within their own contexts, describe the disastrous consequences of humanity's destructive behavior towards natural creation. Suggestions from moral, theological and spiritual perspectives on how to develop an integral ecology are outlined by Hildgard and by Francis in Laudato Si'.
The general objective of this thesis was to investigate how the Traditional Latin Mass essentially facilitated the evangelizing work of the missionaries. Deriving from the general objective, the specific objectives were: to analyse the background social and religious factors that enabled the adaptation of the local community to the Traditional atin liturgy; to examine the liturgical formation of the missionaries; to discuss the evangelizing strategies and techniques employed by the missionaries; and to assess the effectiveness of cultural assimilation of the Traditional Latin Liturgy. The scope of the research covered a period of 90 years, from 1879, the year of the first Catholic missionaries, to 1969, the end of the Latin Mass, restricted itself to the Vicariate of Uganda that was under the ¿White Fathers¿. This research undertaken was primarily archival and library driven. Key among the primary sources were the missionary priests¿ diaries. Other primary sources included documents from the Magisterium, formative liturgical and catechetical instructions and guidelines.
