It started in 1965 when I decided to join the navy, but at first I wanted to join the merchant navy but ended up in the royal navy. My reason was to see the world, after all in those days hardly anyone travelled, so to me it seemed a good way to travel. What I hadn't considered was the regimentation, people telling me how to walk, when to get my hair cut. It all started to fall apart when I went to Portland as an aircraft mechanic, it just seemed so boring. When I did go to sea, we never stopped anywhere, but I ended up on an aircraft carrier as part of the search and rescue team.I decided to sort things out for myself and so when the aircraft carrier returned from the States I went on leave and then deserted and went to Sweden. Initially my objective was to try and obtain political asylum but I ended up hitching and working in Europe. I knew then that I'd made a mistake as I should've just travelled, but I returned to England, was caught and ended up in naval prison. This is far from being a gung ho story about life in the navy, but it is different and hopefully it might make you smile.

Based on the King James Bible and the Strong's Concordance Exhaustive Bible, this book is an original recreation and a perfect recreation for the book of Genesis. Starting with the very first living being in existence, the Creator of all things and the ultimate supreme power the first living being used to create time and space, heaven and earth, day and night. With extreme detail, the book smoothly transitions the reader onto the creation of the first of four different species of human persons. The first three species of human persons were born through evolution. They evolved from mammals and the fourth and youngest species of human persons are made from the clay and water of the earth. The book continues in extreme detail about the interactions between the different species of human persons and they judgments they received from their Creator, the very first living being. Continuing in great detail, this book smoothly transitions onto how the first man and woman made of clay and water of the earth developed a special bond with the Creator and how the Creator established a sacred bond with them, therefore, giving them the opportunity to serve their Creator as holy persons on the Earth. Transitioning smoothly, and in great detail, this book moves the reader onto the jealousy and envy from the other species of human persons that came against the first two persons made from the clay and water of the Earth. Against the species of human persons the Creator chose to serve Himself, a certain one human being, by definition, a hypocrite, a person of low degree, a person who was from the human persons evolved from mammals. By definition, his name is called "Ah-dum". He claimed to be god of all the Earth and Heavens. His jealousy and rage caused him plot out the demise and sin of the first two persons made from the clay and water of the earth who the Creator chose for His own inheritance. Having succeeded in causing the first two holy persons to rebel against the Creator, judgment and punishment was cast down by the Creator causing the first two holy persons to be driven away from the presence of the Creator and the paradise He had created for them to live in. Punished to live under the Creator's curse among all the other species of human persons, punished to live upon a cursed Earth, them and all their descendants until the time the Creator appointed to break His curse, fix what is broken, destroy the seed of evil and of the holy lineage, set up one chosen out of all the people who will be given everlasting life and become the One Shepherd to protect and maintain all the Earth. Gripping the reader's heart and taking the audience on an emotional rollercoaster, discover much more detail about the stories of Cain and Abel, Noah, His sons Shem, Ham, Japheth, and Canaan, the Sons of El and the Flood onto Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

In 1 Chronicles 16, the Bible instructs us to give thanks to the Lord and make known His deeds among the people. It is in compliance with this Scripture that I have written God Watches Over Us My Living Testimonies.God instructs, guides and warns us at specific times in our lives. This book relates to instances in my life when He did so. The idea to write it came to me a few years ago, but I kept postponing and postponing, finding excuses. Until the 2nd October 2011 when I heard God's voice... And though obedience, I tasted his goodness.Thank You, Lord, for speaking to me, ordering my steps and giving me victory! I mostly thank You, Lord, for doing the same to the person reading this book, Your book!

Don T Resio has published many research articles in oceanography, meteorology, and coastal hazard assessment. Currently, a professor at the University of North Florida, he stays busy teaching the next generation of coastal scientists and engineers to adapt to the changing hazards facing coastal communities. To understand why he is publishing this book of poetry, one has to know that Don had an identical twin brother, Ron, who was an avid artist, painter, and poet. Unfortunately, Ron was one of earliest victims of the AIDS epidemic in the early 1980s. It turned out these brothers were the first identical twins where one twin had AIDS and the other did not. This made them ideal participants in the initial study of AIDS at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) which contributed significantly to the recognition that AIDS was due to a virus and to the isolation of this virus. In spite of Don's many trips to NIH to donate blood cells and bone marrow, and to participate in many medical experiments, Ron still passed away. But with his death he left his voiceAnd now I know I have no choiceBut to write these dreams he could not liveNot for the soliloquy I could not giveBut now part of him lives on……. The closeness they shared spans time and space and has made this book a labor of love.
In 1979 after hearing a tape by Herb Fitch called, "Follow Me", I drove 300 miles to a spiritual seminar up in Avila Beach California in order to meet Herb. Before I could have a private session with him, I attended his class on Saturday called, "Healing Outside of Time".During the class I went deeply into the Silence. While sitting there, I suddenly felt lifted up above my physical body. I was on a higher plane, another level of Consciousness; the Experience was intense.Herb Fitch represents what can be attained when we give up all belief in personal sense; he is one of the most advanced mystics the world has ever known. His love and dedication for helping us to step into the Kingdom here and now are unparalleled. His understanding of scripture through revelation is phenomenal. He still works behind the scenes in the Invisible for all of us, this I know. This book covers the 1989 Preparation talks and the 1990 Chicago Healing Seminar. The principles of healing are explained and proven. Read a paragraph or two at a time and then have a meditation, you will see that the healing principles are timeless.
This is strong stuff, and some of it is very frightening. Once again, Kaufmann writes in the first person, but the stream of consciousness is less muddled and progresses smoothly. There are some fundamental problems, however, such as they hyper-reality that exists amongst a somewhat accurate depiction of a gullible German family prior to WW II. The idea that all of this happens to a three or four year old child is quite a stretch, and while the story stops right after the child almost kills Hitler, we can only assume this man has lead an amazing life if all this has happened to a three year old. What happens in the following years? The author will really have to continually outdo himself. The idea that the adult would remember these incidences with such clarity is also a stretch, but here, "dramatic license" is usually applied, although stretching it back to the age of three is a little contrived. The idea that this child almost inadvertently kills Hitler is a little unbelievable as well.As with most of Kaufmann's work, there is always some little nugget that stands out above the rest of the material and deserves comment. In this story, it is the whole scenario regarding the busload of Jews. It is very horrifying with some vivid images that are quite powerful. However, as with all of the other works, this is an incomplete project, and therefore it is impossible to ascertain what direction the story will take, and what kind of redemption the character will go through. At this present stage, it is only an illustration of the Nazi's brutalization of the Jews, and while it is powerfully portrayed, it is just gratuitous. More development is necessary before further comment can be made.

The doctor draft in the 1950's ended any thoughts of this author being a "normal" hometown physician. Kennedy family to a Nazi war-crimes scientist, these events and interactions found their way into the life of a military doctor.Throw in 75 combat missions in Southeast Asia, dinner with the Chief of Staff of the Chinese Air Force, and a persistent FBI agent, and this true story seems almost unbelievable.A local newspaper near the doctor's previous residence called him the "Forrest Gump" of the Village.
