When our life is turned upside down, how do we respond? We do not have control over certain circumstances in our lives, but we can control how we respond to those circumstances. So often, when we think of our lives as being turned upside down, we have actually been set on the right path to becoming who God intended for us to be. While trials and sufferings are hard, the truth remains that we, on our own, would not choose to follow close to Jesus to dwell in the secret place of the Most High.Grace's hope is that through this book, others who are living with chronic conditions will find the same hope in Jesus that she has found. Follow along for forty days of learning how to view our circumstances through the eyes of Jesus as we learn to allow Jesus to make something beautiful from the ashes of our lives.2
The doctrine of the rapture is one of the most interesting subjects in the Bible. Unfortunately, it also is taught and preached in the most unbiblical ways. There are a lot of false beliefs concerning the rapture, such as the following: Can we know when it will happen? Is it pre-, mid-, or post tribulation? Preterist (already happened)? Amillennialist (it will never happen)? What are the signs? When do the signs officially start? Which verses teach the rapture, and which teach the second coming? It is amazing to listen to the teachers and preachers and how they contradict each other, each claiming to have the mind of God. This book will give you a fresh way to view the doctrine of the rapture.
The material in this book is more than just poems. Everyone has to find their only true voice, expression, and an outlet of showing how they truly feel without all the anger, pain, and negative emotions that seem to lead us in the wrong direction when we try to voice it through discussion or conversation at times. This is my only way of having a positive outcome without complications of having my true feelings come out the wrong way. It's not what you say but how you say it that means the most. Growing up in a mentally abusive family, I've learned that one single word said in different ways can have different meanings. If we say things the wrong way because we're hurting inside and hurt someone with our words, it only hurts us three times worse.God equips us all the same way and gives us all the same tools in life. The problem is he doesn't supply instructions on how to use them. They only become clear through trials and tribulations of life's lessons. If you want to break those vicious circles or want to lead a better, peaceful life without pain.Thank you, Lord, for all my hardships that have taught me so much about life and myself.
Would You Follow? by Sharlee Cheyenne is a poetry collection that dares readers to chase their dreams, believe in life's goodness, and realize God's love for them. In an era where the darkest and grimmest is all that we see on our phones and televisions, these poems present us with light, hope, and joy and challenge us to look for these things in the world around us. With her lovingly crafted words, this young poet urges people to renew their outlook on life and not allow their faith to be crushed by life's trials. While her hopefulness might seem to be naivety to seasoned veterans of life, Sharlee still wants to rekindle the light of belief in anyone who will open their hearts to the idea of hoping again. As you read these fifty poems, may you also experience the inspiration, excitement, and wonder that comes from choosing to see the light in the world, and may you close this book with a new sense of purpose and hopefulness. May the constant negativity and depression we've come to accept as normal, especially in the last few years, flee from the happiness you find in these pages. If you find yourself blinded to anything but the shadows of life, may you find the courage to let in the sun, embrace hope and salvation in Christ, and follow your dreams with joy in your heart. Everyone has a God-given spark to share with the world! Only one question remains: do you dare to follow the light, even if it leads out of the darkness we've been told to surrender to?
She was born Amiyah Joy in the kingdom of Nostrebor. Some called her AJ, but her grandmother called her Princess Amiyah because she recognized that she was born with a very special gift. It was the same gift that was evident in her grandfather, the Grand Duke of Nostrebor, Prince Rosford, who lost his life under dubious circumstance. It was alleged that his older brother, Prince Jaydomi, had a yearning to rule Nostrebor. When the kingdom was given to prince Rosford, his older brother made a declaration that as the firstborn, he should have been given control of the kingdom. When they returned from the annual moons of hunting, it was feared that Prince Jaydomi had done something unthinkable to his brother, but it could not be proven.
I decided on the title Too Nice because many people throughout my life have always told me that I'm too nice. I will do anything to help anyone, and I am also too stubborn to give up on anyone. I'm too nice because I choose to see the best in people even when they can't see it in themselves. I always thought it was kind of sad to live in a world where "too nice" could be considered a fault rather than a favor. Still, there are many of us that are thankful to blessed with friends and family who are too nice to us at times. Seeing the state of the things in our world between climate, politics, and war, it only made logical sense to share my story with the world. I know there must be a lot of scared people out there, but please believe me, if we truly accept God and are solid in our faith, then we have nothing to fear. I have hope that those that can read the true story about my life and my suffering will come to know the grace of God. Even if only one person comes to understand and accept God by reading my book, my mission will be a success. I know there are many people out there who are just like myself. This book and the several that will follow will help us better understand our purpose in life as it pertains to God.

In and out of prison, shame and guilt nearly destroyed me, but by the grace of God, and having a spiritual experience, I was saved, and I used my experience to become a recovery coach and help save others.

A lot of times, whenever we face hardships, trials, or tribulations, we find ourselves questioning the goodness of God. Not because we think He's a bad, incapable Father but because the world has given us some construed vision of what is normal versus what's abnormal. Whenever we spend our time looking into the world for what's valid and what isn't, we miss the opportunity to grow to our fullest potential in the seasons that are less than delightful. That's what brought this Bible study book about. This Bible study reflects on real-life examples of hardships in my life and God using them for lessons to grow and better myself for not only my purpose but His too.Despite all of the hardships you and I may face in this world, God's sovereign and His promises always remain the same and unchanging. His love is quite literally reckless, His love--not God but His love. And I found that even in the seasons where I was quite literally running from Him, He was willing to go into the darkest places to retrieve me. This is a four-week journey together, self-evaluating our heart postures, disciplining ourselves to dig into the word of God, and completely surrendering our vision for God's vision. My hope for each woman that picks up this Bible study is that they would walk away from it after four weeks with the ability to discern the enemy's lies from the Father's promises, and that they would be able to walk out a life in complete surrender, receiving God's forgiveness and His grace.
Little Missy had been in bed for weeks with Guillain-Barre syndrome, fatigue, and depression. Her father, frightened for her, asked, "What will make you happy?"Little Missy said, "No one has time to spend with me, hours of time.""If a companion will make you happy, I'll move heaven and earth to find you one."Days later, Sammy knocked, entered, then jumped up on Little Missy's bed. She informed her that she was going to help her walk again. When asked how, she replied, "With miracles, lots and lots of miracles."Little Missy had never met anyone like Sammy before, and before she knew it, she was knee-deep in miracles--the miracles of fresh air, exercise, movement, love, patience, and others. Sammy was so full of joy that she created days that were so much fun that Little Missy had no time for depression.Soon, Little Missy was sitting up in bed, then going outside in a wheelchair, and finally riding her horse, Ebony. But the final glory was when she stood to use parallel bars to take her first steps in months.Mr. Fullington was so grateful that he wanted to do something for Sammy that would be meaningful to her. Little Missy gave him a plan because she knew of Sammy's deep desire to be a veterinarian. They took Sammy to see their vet, who offered her a Saturday job until she graduated from high school, after which she was to have a full scholarship to a veterinarian college.Sammy danced with great joy. Finally, she stopped and hugged Little Missy and whispered, "Can I call you by your name? You're way too old to be a Little Missy."

In Ellie's deepest, darkest moments, she wanted to know "What did I do wrong? Why didn't she want me? Why couldn't I have been born to you?" In my deepest, darkest moments, I had cried out to God, "What did I do wrong? Why won't you send us a baby? Why would you make me want to be a mother and then not give me a child?" Looking at Ellie was like looking at my own pain through a two-way mirror. The holes in her heart matched my own. She wanted a mom. I wanted a baby. And God had answered.Sallie and her husband, Seth, have been struggling to start their family for years. Doctors, inconclusive testing, and the pain of empty loving arms were taking a toll on their lives and their marriage. When Sallie has an encounter with God, she gives the reins of her life to Him. Nothing has ever been permanent in her young life, and she has become withdrawn and aggressive. She is tossed through foster care from home to home until one day, her social worker tells her she is going to be adopted.Their worlds collide, and in an instant, everything is changed. But how can Seth and Sallie possibly help an angry and out-of-control Ellie overcome the terrors of her past? Love alone will not be enough. There is only one solution--the light always drives out the darkness.
Have you ever felt like you are the only one going through something? You are alone, hurting, and the harder you try, the bigger the circumstances get? Me too! I have walked many unwise decisions or circumstances not in my control, but I am here to tell you that there is a God that never leaves or forsakes us. My hope is that you will find solace in the outcome of how God's healing hand took my broken vessel and molded me into His vessel, and that you, too, will know He is with you.
All the numinous events hidden safely from ridicule, criticism, and disbelief bubbled up from deep in my heart when my childhood friend died in 1985. The voices, visions, sighting, and apparitions throughout my life clamored acknowledgement. Gossamer threads anchored to my life fabric at various points in my life told vignettes of mysteries about which I wondered. After he started school, he changed from a happy little boy to one depressed and afraid. Though I asked, he would not tell me what happened, only snippets plus a warning to me before I started school. He was particularly afraid to go to the outhouse alone because of a phantom. We had appendectomies within a week in 1947 and spent five days in the hospital together. He was in the children's ward and I in the women's ward. The epiphany after Johnny's death was the most wonderful and horrendous event of my life. It answered questions for which I needed answers plus information I did not contemplate. When his spirit came to me, explained and verified his words and actions in childhood, it was apparent all I had been a witness to needed to be revealed. The mysteries disclosed must be open to others. Just as I needed more information, some other soul may need the information I can offer. This is my purpose.
Growing up in any major metropolitan city can be extremely challenging, especially when you're African American. I never thought that an everyday normal little kid that I was would experience such a roller-coaster ride of a life. It was almost a guarantee that I would end up in jail, uneducated, or even dead by the time I was sixteen. That's according to statistics in the 1980s.As time went on as a sixth-grader, I soon found a few ways to escape the ways of my community. Some of my friends and family, unfortunately, struggled a lot worse than I could ever imagine. The educational system in my town seemed fine to me as a kid. Even in the 2000s, there were some who questioned public school education but not many who took responsibility for teaching their own kids before they even entered a school building.Street education is what most of my peers learned before grade school. We had to learn how to cook and clean behind one another because most of my friends, including my brother and I, didn't have a father in our home. So our mom struggled a lot to maintain a stable home while trying to keep us safe from the streets. Sometimes, our only escape from the dangers of our community was sports. So when we played, we played hard. But never was I ever challenged more than when I put that stick in my hand!
Has romantic, fulfilling love, and intimacy eluded you? Have you finally found the love of your life? If not, perhaps you will find respite in this story because it is the story of how such love continues to elude one woman over a period of several decades. Resolved that love nourishes the soul and makes life purposeful in both magical and mysterious ways, this author found perfect love in God and watched God lavish her life with extravagant evidence of his love. Such perfect love transformed her life and the "running over" ("My cup runneth over" [Psalm 23]) allows her to freely share God's love with everyone she meets, both in the USA and across the world.
