She then attended Harvard, graduated cum laude, and went to live briefly in Los Angeles. The poems have great power of observation and originality of imagination. The poems reveal consummate artistry and wealth of imagination and fancy that will certainly appeal to the readers' own feelings and stimulate their imagination. No doubt, in this poetry collection we find fruitful, varied and memorable poems. BIOI live in Wisconsin with my beloved wife, Manijeh. The simple lines I write attempt to express those promptings of the soul that well up from time to time. They originate from unexpected but welcomed insights, reflection on the more profound aspects of life, or everyday experiences. Poetry has the power to take flight to the high heavens and beyond; turn to the earth of the familiar and caress her gently; then dive deep into the bowels of profundity. It is this quality of poetry that allows it to walk the shores and enter the seas of receptive hearts, therein to swim, plunge, and ultimately, dive for the coral and pearls of some deeper meaning. It has the ability and power to express essence, beauty, love, and a host of other qualities. For this I continually strive. I hope some day to attain it.
The poems are quite notable on account of sufficiently powerful truth of feeling expressed in spontaneous style.
Poems in this collection are great for reciting aloud, and they ought to be read. There's no doubt that they will be popular with most readers, even adult ones.
We notice in these poems quite an impressive imaginative leap that will certainly appeal to all readers. The poems show the riches and vigor of conversational style and everyday vocabulary.
These stories cover a range of time. I considered revising some of the older stories to update language and technology, then I decided to leave them alone. The characters are within their cultural time frames, and they don't wish to be juggled about nor to have their lives and stories changed, their histories altered. Many of the stories have been published (see acknowledgements). Some haven't found a home until this volume for various reasons. For instance, one problem story is "Baby Botchers." Editors, publishers, and readers tend to wince and run from the story as somehow supporting the concept of baby bartering. From my perspective, the story isn't in support of the idea of selling babies or manipulating genes according to human genetic specifications; rather, it's about how human attitudes and culture could be altered (not for the better) once that becomes the norm. See what you think.
The December 2020 issue of Taj Mahal Review presents some of the most attractive contemporary works by poets and creative artists across the world. I trust that readers who consider themselves interested in poetry, haiku and short story written by international authors, will agree that the latest journal includes not only quite attractive poetry, short story and book reviews, but also immortal haiku by poets across the globe. The poems and haiku selected for publication in this latest edition of TMR have a special interest as the most attractive images, sentiment, ideas and moods expressed by the poets undoubtedly reveal rare and precious quality of intense imagination and minute observation both suggestive and graphic.
