It has not been until recently that I myself knew of the very unconditional loving soulmate the Creator bestowed me with! But more than the presence of a soulmate, the Creator gifted me with himself, with the true knowledge of who he is and of who I am in him. The gifts that were given to me to use with and for an unconditional loving soulmate and the rest of the world as this book was written out and read.In my knowing, what the Creator gifted me with is to be used in attaining the Creator's gifts of knowledge, wisdom, and understanding and to put it in today's words that will help open the eyes and the hearts of so many who do not know that the free-will choice gifted by the Creator is yours to use and have through your life here on earth and through eternity with the Creator. Within the chapters of this book, there are everyday experiences of mine with this unconditional loving soulmate to be read, heard, and seen in actual live events. Nothing in this book is about a particular religion, culture, country, traditions, race, sex, or education. What words are gifted to be put down in the chapters of this book are for you the reader and the observer to know how they can be applied to yourself. In Promises Kept, you will find true given knowledge and wisdom and understanding of our unconditional loving Creator and how it can and will change a world of hate and discord and judgment being misused. As the reader or hearer or someone seeing, such unconditional love is to your own ability to interpret and to use in your daily life.

God's invitation, "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know" (Jeremiah 33:3 NIV), has no expiration date! Prayer is the most common activity among the members of all major religious groups. Unfortunately, to an increasing number, including Christians, this activity or discipline called prayer is now purely ritualistic and fruitless as they do not see any evidence of real results. Consequently, many have quit praying or refrained from participating in any type of prayer gathering. Even some Christians who once believed that prayer produces results have begun to have unsettling doubts about whether God still hears and answers prayers. Whether you are aware or not, prayer is the means for humans to commune and partner with God to advance His kingdom purpose and will in our lives and the affairs of the earth: "May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10 NLT). This biblically-based prayer journal will ignite or reignite your faith and passion for prayer. God is alert and is actively watching over His word to fulfill it (Jeremiah 1:12). That is why each prayer is anchored in the scriptures. Although this journal is designed for personal use, I encourage you to use it for fellowship and small group prayers as well. Be prepared to pray and journal your evidence of answered prayers. You will be convinced that God still hears and answers prayers.2

The Sisterhood series is about four women who grew up together. Ironically, they resemble each other very much (same color hair and eyes), and yet all four come from completely different parents. They went to the same school together, and they know more about each other than their families know. In middle school, they took an oath to stand by each other and formed their sisterhood. As adults, they have become very strong together, and they watch each other's backs. Growing up, they discovered certain skills that each of them possessed, and over the years, those skills got stronger. It was amazing what they accomplished without anyone knowing about it. When they touch hands together in their gathering circle, a powerful electrical charge runs between them. Their little hometown was safe with them in charge, even if the citizens had no idea what was going on behind closed doors. The first four books in the series present to the reader one of the sisters. She usually has an issue that needs to be dealt with, and the sisters form a gathering and take care of the business. Certain twists and turns happen throughout the story of that sister, and the fifth book will provide the answers to questions left to be answered within each book. Reading about all four of the sisters will help you digest and find the answers you will be seeking in book 5, entitled Sisterhood: The Answers, to be released in 2024.

Imagine the best dream and worst nightmare that you've ever dreamt. Now imagine both of them actually happening. Anthony Kingston is a clinically depressed high school student who starts to find that everything he dreams comes true exactly how he dreams it. Every conversation, every action, every fragrance that he smells, and every sensation that he feels in a dream is later found to be a glimpse of reality that he saw ahead of time. Feeling completely alone in the world, Anthony finds love and a hope for his future in the form of a beautiful girl named Jamie, who happens to be the older sister of Anthony's best and only friend, Damon. Take a journey into this horrific tragedy and follow Anthony through the greatest and worst moments of his life. Our story begins with Anthony's first premonitory dream about Jamie, where he quickly finds that every single detail of that dream comes true. Though this occurrence is mortifying in the most exciting way possible, he sees everything that's happening as beautiful and wonderful...until his dreams turn to nightmares. In a desperate attempt to preserve life, Anthony tries to stop his dreams from turning into reality as he experiences a rapid decline in his mental health and his ability to decipher between what's real and what's not. This work of fiction is inspired by true events and dreams that the author experienced. It contains subject matter that will be highly disturbing and offensive to some readers. Discretion is advised.

It's always been all about Love; it's just that we, as humans, get lost and so our souls ache. What do we get lost in?How do we get lost and how in the hell do we find that Love for ourselves and others? There was a time when I felt like I was diving off a high diving board into an empty pool. The flight was cool, but the landing sucked beyond what I thought was possible. But one thing I learned through sucky landings is this: they are the start of one amazing journey. That's really the crux of this book. The journey toward a Love that makes my life a blast. This book is not a religious text--it is a spiritual manifesto to describe the path that lead me out of religious abuse thirty-plus years ago and put my life on a whole new path. What do we release for peace? What do we hang onto for hope? What happened to us to create the BS that so easily trips us up?Find out by getting this book and taking your time to go through it. At the end of each chapter, it has several articles that I wrote on my journey. Take your time, answer the questions, and listen to the whisper. Want to chat about this book? The Covert Genocide is the first comprehensive account of the horrors that befell Ethiopia's Somali region during the reign of Abdi Mohamoud Omar-commonly known as Abdi iley-who ruled over the Somali inhabited parts of Ethiopia between 2010 and 2018. In this book Abdulkadir Ali 'Bureida' offers an incisive assessment of the Abdi iley years. His reign of terror claimed the lives of thousands of Somalis in Ethiopia. It lastingly damaged-physically, mentally and socially-a good part of the community. As the federal government's main pillar of the counter-insurgency against the reel Ogden National Liberation Front (ONLF) Abdi iley acted as a state within the state. On his and his officials' orders countless civilians, political competitors and suspected and real ONLF supporters were arrested, tortured and killed across the region. Drawing over 700 interviews with witnesses and survivors, The Covert Genocide provides the reader with an insider's account of the atrocities, arbitrary violence and terror that were the hallmark of the Abdi iley period. Making use of history, philosophy, psychology and his first-hand observations as a prisoner of conscience in the infamous Jail Ogaden, the author sheds light both on the systematic human rights abuses by Abdi iley's officials and paramilitary 'Liyu' or special police and the broad political context, which enabled it. Equal part historical account, political account, political analysis and human rights reporting, the book offers crucial testimony of the Abdi iley period. A powerful tribute to the victims of state sponsored violence, the Covert Genocide is a reminder that accountability for the many injustices committed continues to be wanting. Some readers will be tempted to discard or downplay the findings of this book as essentially a Somali problem. Nothing could be further from the truth. Ethiopia' former EPRDF government not only tolerated, but enabled the many atrocities against civilians that took place as part of the governments' counterinsurgency. The ongoing impunity of former and current officials and security forces-including parts of the ONLF-continues to be a major obstacle for reconciliation and healing not only in Somali region, but in Ethiopia altogether. Recent atrocities by warring parties in the Tigray conflict are a spark reminder that Ethiopia has so far failed to address or learn from its recent past. The Covert Genocide is a stark reminder that as long as political elites refuse to acknowledge these past injustices and their victims, they are likely to repeat themselves in the future.Tobias Hagmann, visiting professor, Roskilde University (Denmark) and Senior Programme Officer, Swisspeace (Switzerland).

The book embodies an aggregate industrial and academic experiences of the authors gathered over the years of developing a process for converting low-quality Nigerian ores into super concentrates and also successfully operating a commercial ball mill installation equipped with a pilot grinding test facility. It presents step-by-step process design calculations, pilot tests, scale-up, and validation methods for optimizing the mill design parameters and improving the operational efficiencies. The principles detailed in the book provide a roadmap for tuning the mill when processing materials of new origin to obtain optimal grinding efficiency. With the current trend toward the use of larger mills, there have been situations where those larger mills have not realized their design capacities due to some limitations in the application of conventional scale-up procedures to results from small-scale grinding equipment. The uniqueness of this book lies in the combination of the process design principles with the pilot test and scale-up methodologies that enable the efficient prediction of commercial mill parameters from small-scale results, thus avoiding the pitfall inherent in conventional scale-up procedures. The book features approaches to validate process parameters for optimality and also to establish grinding media losses necessary to establish an appropriate balance between the ore and the media. Mechanical design of the critical parts and their materials selection have been included in the text. The book promises to be an invaluable companion in the area of raw materials preparation and mineral dressing for students, practicing engineers, and scientists in the industry and the academia and research laboratories. Throughout the book, examples are provided, which illustrate the application of the relevant principles and methodologies to real-world situations.

This book is a sequence poem of 505 parts. It took me several years to write it. The poem is an old idea that I had sometime a long time ago. It was inspired by some music that I used to listen to called "Song of the Nightingale." The idea of the universe being so dark and so cold and always being in the darkness of the nighttime made me wonder a bit for the nightingale sings its songs mostly maybe only by night. So the universe could be a haunted place that nightingales wander throughout in the darkness and guarding and watching over everything where it can ultimately rule the stars and moons as it supposedly should do. There are also midnight nightmares that wander throughout the stars in these enormous gatherings of birds and horses singing for someday the universe will come to its conclusion; and it's all mixed in with basic modern-day science aspects and things to try to be something new; and it tries to explain the universe with songs of nightingales and nightmares, ravens and crows, and mockingbirds mixed in with the wonder of where the universe has really come from. From the darkness it all has come and to the darkness it all shall return. And from nowhere it has come, to nowhere it will return. As Einstein says, "I want to know how God made the universe.""I see my life in terms of music" --Albert Einstein

Planet Xeon is located in the distant corner of the Alpha Centauri Star System, nearly six light-years away, and is comparable to planet Earth. Technology on Xeon is far beyond Earth's abilities, creating futuristic advancements, either unknown or out of reach from our reality. Xeon geoscientists have determined the planet core is unstable and may be uninhabitable in three hundred years unless it self-stabilizes, a rational probability. Superiors start a search for a habitable planet in order to save their people from becoming extinct, and they've selected planet Earth, specifically, the United States of America.Identifying what is necessary to send to planet Earth is of great concern due to the advanced technology that can produce weapons with godly powers, powers that can destroy the planet. Once Xeon technology is introduced, our lives will change dramatically and make the United States a dominating country with powers that are unimaginable, creating a force that the world will envy and fight to attain. The superiors of Xeon are concerned about sharing military technology to an unstable or corrupt government. They plan to be selective when transporting certain types of technology until such time the United States government can prove to be trustworthy, responsible with alien weapons, and have total control of other countries on the planet, preventing them from acquiring these powers.Titus and Xavia resign from their position at NASA to help the Xeon people rid the United States from corruption before announcing them to the world. In the process, they become good friends with Xeon citizens. The concerns about Xeon citizens migrating to the United States stem from the widespread corruption in the government. Term limits is discovered to be the key ingredient to a stable government that works for the people and by the people. "Lifetime politicians cultivate corruption."Adventure, space flight, romance, friendship, family, and chocolate cake.

This book is a "drop-in" helpful guide for those new to leadership or moving to a different or more senior leadership role. This is a "for your eyes only" guide, providing ideas for managing the challenges of leadership and hopefully helping to avoid some of the pitfalls. It's a concise and no-nonsense go-to source of support with real-life examples to help guide the reader toward possible solutions. Leadership in an international setting is, without doubt, a different, demanding cultural and international intelligence. These different expectations demand different approaches, and there is certainly no right way to deal with every situation. We learn by taking risks, making mistakes, and caring for others particularly in challenging situations. Dip in and out. We hope you find it useful!

In 1849, Rose and James MacKenzie homesteaded their Double MK ranch and were founders of the town of Timberline, Arizona. Fifteen years and five children later, their eldest, Abby, goes missing. Before the year ends, James dies from grief. Yet Rose is no damsel in distress; the banker is not coming for her ranch--Rose owns the bank--and she dedicates her life to raising the boys, managing the ranch, and the search for Abby. Rose's twice broken nose and publicly stoic Scot demeanor have earned her a tough reputation and dark legends swirl around the knife she carries at her hip. Yet, as years go by, the winters grow deeper, winds blow colder, and hope of finding Abby has become a flickering ember. Cambridge educated "Lee's Army" veteran, KO Campbell, suffered serious burn injuries during the Civil War and hopes to speed his recovery by fulfilling a dream of traveling west to "complete" the botanical journals of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. His horse slips on an icy mountainside, and he literally falls into the Double MK ranch, so he decides to linger and seek work there. When he meets Mrs. MacKenzie, KO is startled to see a familiar face that he cannot quite place. As they work sometimes side-by-side on the ranch, a kindredship develops between Rose and KO, and they begin to question it from their different stations. She is the boss, he is the ranch hand. She is a wealthy landowner who would never leave her mountains and family. He has a dream, which can easily call him away, and a secret which can hurt both of them. Set in Arizona's dramatic, diverse landscapes of tall Saguaros, Ponderosa Pine, lush mountain meadows, and the secret caves and canyons of the Moggollon Rim, Autumn's On Its Way is not a bodice ripper, nor a shoot'em up, it's the story of a woman's realization of her physical, spiritual, and emotional capacities and reemergence into life after tragedy. It's a love of life story, brim full of legend, mystery, family relationships, adventure, near-death escapes, and an esteemed cast of supporting, real-west characters, including Mangus Colorado, Cochise, Lozen, Juh, pirates, privateers, and Italian royalty.
