My name is Oluwabunmi Funmilayo Akano. I was born on November 1975 to the family of the late pastor Johnson and mrs. Shijuade Famuyide. It was gained from the mean streets of St. Louis, other larger metro areas, and the University of Wisconsin (66,72, & 81). He was a privileged and credential licensed health care professional. He provided services in the community to a broad spectrum of people for 40 years - quietly touching the lives of many in the community. There was no quest for personnel recognition. Otherwise, he is a licensed collector, a jazz collector, pays a musical instrument (alto tax), likes old cars, and owns a 1964 Ford Thunderbird (in good condition).

Vol 1. is a collection of poems written between 1996 and 2010. I always had dreams of being a published author and one day having my words available to the world. Saying; "I''ll get to it tomorrow" or waiting for the perfect time wasn''t going to help me get to where I wanted to be. I had seen too many examples of how tomorrow wasn''t guaranteed.
