The idea for the Aneksaria series of novels was inspired by his trips to the Scottish Highlands. The books are about the struggles of the Aneksa, the free-people who live in the Islands of Garvamore. The Aneksa are referred to more commonly as 'Muckers', a derogatory term used by Divines. These are a group of rugged, mountainous islands in the semi-arctic north (natua) of the world of Inalsol. Inalsol is run by the Frame, a super, artificial intelligent computer. The environment of Garvamore makes it difficult for machines to work and so, the Frame uses a 'superior' caste of people known as 'Divines'. The first book 'The Mucker Revolt' introduces the reader to the characters, society and environment the story is set in. The main story-line involves Cullin, the youngest son of Lord Ossin and the events leading to the 'Battle of Dundoon'. 'Search For The Interface' continues the story and sets Cullin on a dangerous sea journey to find the Interface and destroy it. The story also covers Yayler's journey to elicit from Divines and culminates in the Battle of Rustick More.

"Stop The Tsunami" is the English language version of an Irish (Gaelic) novel published by Cló Iar-Chonnacht in An Spidéal in the West of Ireland. She was the keeper of a thousand year old religious relic which she has forgotten where she left it. The children blame their dog, Topsy for eating the bone. Politics, religion, and the threat of extinction by a Tsunami dominate conversations on an island which can be seen as a microcosm of our fire and ocean threatened world. This is a collection of stories and art work from the career of a middle school art teacher in New York City. The inspiration for this story came from my two pets, Aki and Paris. Both are like little kids: cute, gentle,and very affectionate. It was the evening of August 31st 1939. Germany was able to stage a completevictory over Poland. At the same time, the Spanish civil war had ended with the dictator, Generalissimo Francisco Franco, assuming the position of president. Concurrently a third dictatorship became a reality in Italy with the leadership of Benito Mussolini. An American couple found themselves trapped in Berlin, Germany not speaking the language and having no contacts in berlin. Frightened and alone, they needed to find a safe way out of Germany and get home before they would be apprehended and arrested by German authorities.

In addition to reflecting my passion for travelling, a couple of themes emerged during the journey and writing of the book. Firstly, travel is quite a challenge for my wife, Sylvia, who has Parkinson's disease and who, as a disabled person, needs a wheelchair for getting around most of the time. This adds a whole new dimension to the practicability of travel, which my book addresses.A second theme, however, apparent almost from Day One of our travels, emerged and never really left us during our time in the Americas. This can briefly be encapsulated in a single word - freedom. We came across it when we saw the Statue of Liberty in New York and in talking to people in New York, and again in Philadelphia, with its links to the American War of Independence from the UK, where we walked in the footsteps of George Washington. In Latin America we were constantly reminded of their struggles for independence from Spain, both in Colombia and Argentina, where the two larger-than-life liberators, Simon Bolivar and José de San Martin, continue to wield an influence and presence that still seems to permeate life in both of these countries.Our story follows our travels and interactions with friends and strangers, from New York, across to Philadelphia and then down to Colombia and Argentina. Mike and Sylvia experienced many acts of kindness as well as great moments of discovery, as they travelled down the spine of the Americas, and our hope is that people, particularly with disabilities, will feel confident to step out of their comfort zones and explore a little more of what this wonderful world and its varied communities has to offer.

Rosie was born loving horses and has pursued many disciplines in the horse world-breeding, showing, teaching, endurance racing, driving, camping, and trail riding wherever she can. Any ride on a horse is an adventure, and most folks can only dream about the places she has seen from the back of her horse. As an ICU nurse, getting away on her horse is a great escape.
