Healing beyond Betrayal is the second title in a series of Marriage Built to Last books meant to cultivate, strengthen, and inspire couples as they journey through life together in a marital bond. Healing beyond Betrayal includes real case studies detailing the trials and travails of marriage and how best to overcome them and find healing. It tackles the issues of children born out of wedlock and hidden from a spouse, emotional abuse, financial infidelity, ex-lovers, and the sanctity of privacy. It also addresses head on the subjects of third wheels, child discipline, erectile dysfunction, drama queens and kings, and porn addiction. Alone or together with the first, eponymously titled book of the series, Marriage Built to Last, Healing beyond Betrayal promises to be a valuable guide to all couples for a long time to come.
The challenge of leadership has been with man since the days of Adam and Eve. Much has been written on and said about the subject of leadership yet many institutions continue to suffer under a leadership that is ineffective and more often than not self-seeking. Rediscovering Leadership will challenge and encourage the business and church leader alike to follow God's Biblical design for successful leadership, which is servanthood. Jesus Christ modeled the design and his legacy and influence continues on more than two thousand years and its still growing. The author has shared invaluable principles gained from his own leadership experience as well as his interaction with great scholars and writers on the subject. The principles will be of great help both to the experienced and the novice in leadership. The book will also help the reader appreciate that Leadership is not an event but a process and that servanthood is the only model that will guarantee success in leadership that will leave a legacy.
Although the Holy Spirit is present and busy in the whole Bible, most times He is relegated to the New Testament and more specifically, to the book of Acts after the Day of Pentecost. What was the Holy Spirit's role in the Old Testament? How is He recognized in the life of a believer? Is His presence in a believer the same as His presence upon a believer? Is "speaking in tongues" really necessary? What is the use of speaking to God in a language that we do not understand if we can speak to Him in a language that we understand? How does "speaking in tongues" benefit the people around me? This is a book on spiritual warfare and as such it emphasizes the role of the Holy Spirit in this warfare, both in the Old Testament and in the New Testament. The best person to introduce the Holy Spirit is the Holy Spirit Himself! My prayer is that as you read this book, the Holy Spirit will reveal Himself to you in a way that has never happened before. He is wonderful! He is awesome! Without Him we cannot know Jesus or God the Father. He has been give full jurisdiction to move in and upon people on earth, to fulfil the will of the Father.
